I was doing the Trando Slaver themepark quests, (East camp), when I came to the 'Protect the Trando Slaver Convoy' mission from Lesnorr. So, I pulled the mission, launched into space...and nothing. No WP, no quest updates, etc. Double-checked it, said Kashyyyk system. So,I landed, pulled the mission again, launched...same thing. No WP. I repeated this 4 times, but nothing. A friend of mine also pulledthe same mission, and he saw no WP/quest updates...

Guess it was bugged up with Patch 18 or something...

So am I the only one that didn't get her quest bugged because she said the ships were "strong" in an effort to boost her pay?

On a more serious note, I dropped Rebel Pilot for Privateer, redid Privateer and noticed when talking to the station that they didn't seem to remember me from back when I was flying for the rebels.

Well no problem right? I'll just redo the quests and this way I'll be able to get the Vaksai as well. Well actually big problem, the first mission(s) went fine, but the INSTANT I was sent to the surface I got into the bugged loop.

Note I did not answer 'weak' or anything. First time I talked to Eyma I was sent straight back up to the station.

I guess its not a big deal, I did get the Heavy X out of the deal (though I can't use it of course) but I wouldn't mind doing some of the quests that require completion of the station quests.

Thought I'd mention it since I didn't see this variation of the bug in this thread.

same here. I did the heavy xwing quest, went imperial to get the red gaurd tie interceptor, got u to the bit where you go to the surface and now I'm stuck in a loop.

Also, on a different note, we all know the bypass plan but when will the ARC 170 deed be fixed so that we can open it again if we got it, changed pilot profession, tried to open it again but can't as it says we haven't done the quest even though we have...when will that be fixed Tomo hmmm??

They're doing internal testing on a fix for the ARC deeding problems now. I don't know what that means in terms of when it'll hit live, but the process for the fix is in the works.

I told they´re weak and got my ship with no problems, but I´m not able to generate it from the deed. I only got 2 badges (newbie ok?) so I´m on my away to some POIs to complete 5. Your post helped a lot! Thanks!

What about the Quest for the mining ship not working right now since pub 18

if you take a mission from Captain Koh to escort some Y-8 mining ships home, th information in your data pad is blank and lauching into space does nothing, mission will not start, no matter what you try.

The Jedi Starfighter-quest requires, amongst other tasks, u to escort the AT-thingies back to the camp/city/village/whatever on Kashyyyk for the imperial admiral Krieg or something.

It is well known that this part of the quest is bugged. When I reached the city-gates I got the "Mission Successful" melody and note. But soon after I was spammed with a message very similare to: "You have failed to stay sufficiently close to your subject", or something.

Nevermind, because the admiral was happy and that part of the quest was finished. So he gave me new order to defend the base from an incoming attack by the rebels. Sad part here is that the AT-thingie was supposed to be in base now so that it could support the defence of the city vs. the rebels.

Anyway; up I go and get relatively fast toasted because my character isn't that tuff. But with some help from bystanders the rebels are toasted, apart from a wokie up on an unreachable hill-top, and maybe a few others. I get sick and tired of trying to get to them and not succeeding, so I log.

Next day I return and the admiral is not happy because he sends me back up to kill the rebels. I imagine now that the defense-part of the quest is not finished or jammed; becasue there are certainly no rebels attacking the city anymore. After some bickering around a fellow tells me that maybe it's the next rebel-attack part of the quest the admiral is referring to.

In that case I didn't get a waypoint for that part, but the dude knows where, so I travel to that spot in the forest where the rebels are expected to attack (some stormy-looking troopers or something are already there waiting).

What happens? Nothing. Zippo, nada. Zero. So I feel like I am stuck in limbo here. My quest is jammed it seems. I am sure paying customers are expected to get what they are promised they will get when they pay for the dang thing. I sure feel that way when I bought my house and car, and whatever. And I sure hope the airplane isn't bugged next time I go for vaccation.

Fix this. Now.

Seeing that there's a couple unpleasant bugs that haven't been able to be dealt with yet, I thought it'd be wise to get a sticky up concerning avoidable problems and any workarounds in the hopes that more pilots will be able to prevent these bugs from happening to them. In light of that,

  • Don't tell Eyma the Ghrag mercenaries are weak. At some point in the Vaksai/Heavy X-Wing/Imperial Guard Interceptor quests, Eyma (the CPG guy down on Kachirho) will ask you whether the Ghrag mercenaries are strong or weak. If you say they're strong, you'll be directed to the next mission and everything will be roses and other such agreeable things. If you say they're weak, however, this seems to put pilots into a loop where they're directed between Eyma and Kashyyyk space station but never given the next mission in the series, preventing them from getting their new ships. So until this one's fixed, be sure to let Eyma know those Ghrag are a force to be reckoned with, even if you vaped them in two and a half seconds.

We are in the process of testing a fix for this internally.

The Crimson TIE Mission nets the Rebel Heavy X-Wing badge (mentioned at Fan Fest) - any fix for future pilots and current loyal Imperials who have an unsightly Rebel X-Wing badge in their profile?

My CorSec Ace got the Heavy X-Wing badge and a Crimson TIE deed in his inventory, neither of which is terribly useful, haven't been able to get any help for it either

Yep, thats some annoying stuff. Of course, really no way to work around this one.

Unfortunatly i think you are good and bugged. 'Bout the only way I know around this is to traipse back out to that nice convent on Dathomir and get another datapad and start over.

My error; I should have mentioned it b4: I have already tried to start the quest over again from Dathomir with the datapad-thingy. Sadly that cannot be done because the game insists that I have completed (!) the quest and that it therefore cannot be done again.

Thanx for reply though

Try waiting for someone else to come along at the same point in the quest you are in and help them kill their rebels. Don't know if that will work, but it's worth a shot.

The Jedi Starfighter-Quest on Dathomir/Kashyyyk - Ok, I am pretty sure now where my quest is jammed; I never successfully completed defending the village on Kashyyyk against the rebellian attack - that's Phase 2 - before I logged off and then on again. The Quest Window verifies this, as do Admiral Krieg. Speaking of the former; it is there the bug lies: the Quest Window indicates that Phase 2 is unresolved, but allthough that is the case; it is nevertheless inactive... What do I mean by that? Well, as it is withmany kill-this&that-please-quests on Kashyyyk - there was a counter. That counter is now gone. Earlier; when the quest was up & going/active-there was a counter that told me how many types of kills I had to do, and how many I had done. It's there no more.

I have filed a ticket/bug report. I have tried to restart the mission by grabbing a second datapad on Dathomir. I have talked again with Admiral Krieg a thousand times. I have tried to kill rebels attacking the city when I was solo, I have done the same when I was group with another mission-owner.

The situation is 100% jammed.

Is it going to stay that way forever? Or will it be possible to get a solution to this; e.g. a mission resetter?

Cheers.
