I can now confirm that GETTING KILLED will solve this halted status.

I just got killed in a duel on Kashyyyk.

When I went back to speak to the imperial officer underground the mission was given again.

I know there has been a thread kicking around on the bug in the Mining Quest, but I couldnt find it in the first 3 pages.

There seems to be another mission that suffers from the same bug. I got a mission from Lensorr (sp?) in the Eastern Trando Slaver camp. Space mission for escorting a convoy to Avatar. I have not encountered the Mining quest bug, but here are my observations on this one:

The mission does not "begin" when you launch. It's not simply a matter of a missing waypoint, the script that is supposed to kick in when you enter the sector isn't running. I'm guessing both missions do this. There is no start upon launch, and no failure upon landing. The only way to get out of the mission is by physically aborting it.

I'm still having a problem generating my Red Guard Interceptor - getting the message "you do not have the correct badge for this". I tried the suggestion to get more POI badges and now have several, the "have got 10 badges" badge but, curiously, do not have the "have got 5 badges" badge.

Is this what I need to be able to generate the ship? Or have I come across another bug that stops me being able to generate my ship?

(Note: completed the mission after Patch 19 fixed the Eyma bug and when the correct badge was given out from the space station. I do have the correct badge, so I know it's not that.)

If you're a privateer going for the Vaksai but are a Rebel or Imperial on the ground, don't go to the factional station when Eyma tells you to, as the factional stations will give you either a Heavy X-Wing or an Imperial Guard Interceptor which you won't be able to fly. Instead, just talk to Kashyyyk station again. It should give you the option for the challenge missions that will grant you the Vaksai. If you've already gotten the X or Int as a privateer, you should still be able to get the Vaksai, however.

Ok I have only mastered Smuggler Alliance, I got to the point where Eyma has told me to go to the rebel outpost to continue my quest. My question is can you even fly the X-wing if you get it from this mission? If you get the X-wing, can you then go to the Kasyyyk station and get the Vaksai also, or does getting both only work if you have surrendered pilot and went back up again (which I know is bugged right now)?

If you're Smuggler's Alliance, you won't be able to fly the X-Wing at all. You need to go ignore Eyma and go to the Kashyyyk Space Station and get the mission from them. This will earn you the Vaksai which, as a neutral pilot, you will be qualified to fly.

I don't know if you can redo the final mission to get the other ships too, but judging from the post above, it looks like yes you can and you don't need to drop your current pilot faction.

Any news on either of:

1. Y8 mission bug - no spawn of convoy to escort?

2. Blocked advancement, i'm stuck at 2/2/2/2 and i can't get any further, and i can't even get any more XP cos I hit the limit... and nobody wants to train me either

1. The fact that its mission details screen is blank was probably intentional. None of the other missions in the Y-8 quest have filled detail screens.


2. In the quest journal, under the Y-8 mission you are supposed to do, it says "Travel to the Kashyyk System". However, once you do "Travel to the Kashyyk System", NOTHING HAPPENS!!!


3. The mission doesn't even START when you're up in Kashyyk space.

So the problem with the Y-8: Escort mission quest isn't that the waypoint is never given to you, the problem is that when you travel to the Kashyyk system, the mission doesn't know to start.

So, devs, you could probably fix this bug by closely examining the mission and adding a startline to it.

Easiest work around is to grab a friend from a different squad.

Also, post your squad here if you didnt earlier, so Tomo can report which ones are having troubles. My Corsec pilot was the one that ran afoul of this one, and a Smugglers Alliance pilot helped me out.

all teir 3 skills dont require xp u just need to do there missions and u get the teir 3 boxes.... Its not a bug

EDIT: i read on the bug of u cant redeed i thought it was only for teh JSF so i got the arc flew it a few times then dedp it cause i thought that was gonna work. I left my squad (with inpsire on XD) i joined the Empire (obviously fo rthe JSF) i was just planing on getting the ship and going back rebel but i sticked with imperial and i tryied to deed my ARC 170 and well u guys can guess what happen =P. so far i have seen no other bug that has not been mention.

Tomo! Any word on a fix for the re-bugging of the "weak/strong" heavy fighter quest that a lot of us suffered from because we changed pilot factions while we were bugged from completing the quest? Give me some good news, please!
