Thing is. I'm an avid pvp'er. I admit I get annoyed if I get epulsed. I don't care about 'being uber' etc but I do fly for fun. I'm not that arrogant really honestly. I just have a strong sense of what I consider to be 'right or wrong' and hmm, that might be arrogant I guess.
I guess my main annoyance is that I am perfectly willing to abide by other people's preferences and if someone wants to FP farm and be left alone ...I leave them alone. If someone wants to have their group ambush me and make me fight solo, I'll try my best and fly as well as I can do becauseat least I stand a slight chance of prevailing. If someone is just parts faring in DS..I'll let them get on with it.
My arguement is though, that dedicated pvp'ers or people who go overt expecting pvp, should not use epulse as it stands atm as if going out for 'fun' pvp is their intention, thenthey're being very false if they make use of epulse.I know it is naive, but I just wish that people would give me what I give them...a fair non advantageous battle when it comes down to pvp. That sounds self righteous and yep, I accept my choice of flying an A-wing when I 'could' fly a JSF is my own. I know not loadkilling etc is my own choice, but I do believe that a common line has to be drawn somewhere and Epulsing is where that line should be drawn until it is made into a more reasonable ability.
They MIGHT consider making it a charged hull effect that lasts for, say five seconds, but I would prfer it to be an instant thing. Call it my love for timing or whatever, but thats just the way I feel. What do you think? (And what current SCIFI TV series was the last part of that statement from

Erm. You just gave me an idea btw for how I'm going to portray this 'film' I'm making though.
As for epulse, well if say the charged hull thing lasted for two minutes I think that'd be more than fair in pvp. I mean, also the drawback could be that they cannot fire weapons at this time as the 'charge' pulls power from the capacitor.

I think there should be two categories. Pilot specials for pve and pilot specials for pvp. PvP specials wouldn't cause any damage to an opponent, but might throw off targetting perhaps for a brief time period. Haro mentioned this a while back. I liked it.
We can put it at master privateer pilot. Seems to fit the privateer profession. Big, clunky, with a super omni directional kaboom, no aiming required!
Maybe the devs and slip it in publish 25.

I was going to say that earlier, but since ive released built up frustration from the last month into this thread, i figure theres no point in my being rational anymore.

I think im gonna load up an RGI and EP3 the living crap out of him when i see him, just to see how he likes a taste of his own lameness with a little extra vindicitiveness thrown in for good measure.
Nah. I always pictured arrogance as the flaunting something that someone doesn't have, like me saying I look better than some model, lady friend notwithstanding

I'd much rather have a launcher with an unlimited stackIlludium PU-36Space Modulators. Certified only to me. However, if I was given a Death Star without having to pay for it... I suppose I'd take it. I'd be entitled to kill everything, because the devs are implicitly saying I should!
Gonna have to get someone to spackle them trenches, though. Cain't have them thar farmboys a-tryin' tah fahr thar missiles in mah ex-haust port. That ain't God's way!

Actually, he seems to be pretty cool now. It was kind of confusing for a time since Adellea played my account for a bit a while backand so I think he still thinks I'm female..when I'm not but I just havn't been bothered to correct him. Hell, he is going to have one major shock on TS . He is part of GGS now, Bendo's squadron. Oh, you might be interested to know that 'she who is so Imperial and self righteous' (Ade) is thinking of coming back. I say this because I can only imagine that you two, put together for more than five minutes would result in one of the biggest JTLS rant conversations of all time which I'd pay to see.
