Good post AnzelVincir, lots of interesting points and comments. Some I don't agree with but interesting and well put togethernone the less.

Wow, thanks a lot for responding! My original post was quite long so I assumed that everyone would agree and disagree on different parts which is what seems to be happening.
Swede,
Theretruly seems to be a good dialogue going here and I hope that you really do pass it along to the rest of your team like you said prior to editing your response. I tried to start things offas constructive as possible hoping to solicit the same from others.
I'm one of the guys who will never cancel. I will rant. I will complain. I will whine, and yes I will be an ahole from time to time (O.K. maybe more than that)but I will never cancel. You will have to cancel my account before I do. However JTL has at least kept me actually playing. I really hope the same goes for the rest of our community.
I'm not one to put out "Great Job Dev" posts (go ahead and check) but you guys really are doing a great job. There are over 260,000 registered users here and there is nothing you can do to please everyone. Overall I am very satisfied and very much looking forward to what you conceiving as I type this.
Thanks again.

well you can jump to certain points. I wish they had left in jumping straight to starbases, at least until they get the travel thinking you're on tatooine thing fixed (and perhaps leave it in even then). It could be a point 2 clicks out or something, but it seems rather odd to me that the closest hyperspace to the starbase isn't labelled, and isn't well, safe/patrolled anywhere.
What I don't get is... If I am "Travelling" from a Starport to a new system... Why can't I go to the starport I want? Why can I only travel to Corellia and not Talus? I just don't understand.
Radar: The rather is perfectly fine except one thing - you can't resize it. There are three types of radars: The one in JTL, the Elite kind and the dual-radar kind. I much prefer the first two since you see all directions and such in one spot. The current radar is perfectly simple to understand and does show you where the ship is in relation to you.
Grouping: Works good. Distances would be nice indeed.
PvP for Master: Get a good group and you'll most likely be fine. You need a good group anyway. PvP adds some bit of excitement.
Hyperspace to a WP: Would be nice, but unless it has a limitation on distance from starports it would be a bit silly. They intentionally don't want you jumping right up to a space station.
Mass and Chassis: More mass = slower ship. Many will opt for faster ships with lesser equipment. Don't see this as an issue yet. One issue I do see is that mass experimentation on ships is mostly of no consequence.
Cash in space: Yes, damn it. Don't force people, especially ones that are not combat oriented, to grind the ground game to afford space. I want to, at master level at least, be able to get cash in similar fashions to the ground game. Implement space mission terminals (missions GIVEN in space!) have random missions to escort, destroy, deliver items. Perhaps even faction specific ones like rescue (jumpstart) a ship in need etc. There's endless possibilities of fun at and before master levels. Sure it might be repetetive but heck, at master level you could have missions to destroy a corvette or other dangerous things (i.e group missions) with massive payout (150-300k, requiring 10-20 people to pull off).
Will I keep playing? You can bet your *ss that I will. Beta was only so-so but I stuck to retail and it's just too much fun? Why?
1) Game really is focused on groups. Not necesary until the end, really, but it makes life easier and it's fun! Being a gunner in a mp ship is awesome. Can't wait for the master level ship. Find a good shipwright or two also helps. You really need to keep your ship near the top of the line to do well. Tiers get distinctly harder, and it works gamewise.
Overall, I'm very pleased except some of the road bumps (not damaging ships you hit, broken lead indicator, massive FPS loss in/near nebulas, space stations etc).
Of course that doesn't work in application but I think that was what they were planning. And if the travel system worked they way they intend it to some of this would be dried up issue. Clearly fixing the travel bug isn't completely trivial or they would have fixed it already though, the dev responsible for that system must have played and went 'ah crap it thinks I'm on tatooine, now how do I fix this' and not been able to fix it immediately kind of thing.
Just how is PVP not optional in either the ground game or JTL???

Rather than keeping me here, jtl is driving me further away. It is one more area in which a player is driven into PvP in a game in which it was promised that PvP would be optional.
It is also one more example of additions with a unjustifiable amount of bugs being layered onto a game which already has so many serious bugs it is difficult to play.
