The above is a common statment, that is nothing but self righteous, vindictive rhetoric. Rebels don't have a ship like the oppressor in which to "adapt" with.

Imperials always had the advantage, now they have the advantage X 2 with the oppressor AND the JSF.

And yes, most of my PvP kills were done as an Imperial. So, I'm not exactly talking out of my arse.

Your forgetting the fact that the Advanced hasbetter YPR- the same mass and more weapons points than the Awing!

Plus the Interceptor also has more YPR!

And the Oppressor has serious firpower in those 3 missile tubes!

Thats a x3 advantage the imps had and rebels never moaned about it!

Now the Imps have a x4 advantage with the JSF rebels (and freelancers who are even worse off) start saying come on dont unbalance the game - the Imps who never went in DS before (but now do and sit next to freedom station in JSFs) start shouting "No, you had your I WIN button - your just mad we have one now!" while the rebels and other veteran pilots look at each other and go "What I WIN buttton, you gits never told me rebs had an I WIN button, what is it?"

I love imps who argue the Awing was unbalanced and superior - as soon as they say that it makes them look incredibly stupid and invalidates any other argument they may make, in the eyes of every veteran ace pilot in the game!

Id store my awing for the advanced every single time. The advanced is a tight ship fer sure. Never flew an Opp though

But all in all, Id take the xwing over them all. Maybe Im just a fanboi though, who knows.

Have you tried to get a grevious fighter? It has the same stats as JSF. Anyone can fly it as well.

Would love to see the current ships with the proper loadouts.

All TIE variants sho that they have 2 guns. Intercepter should have higher mass so it could fit 4.

XWings deserve the 4 guns and 2 torps for dang sure.

But again, don't want you to think I'm pushing to change these ships. I always felt the mass should have been a bit higher on the intercepter class fighters. AWing included. AWing with 2 blasters and 2 torps and a little more mass would be fierce. The TIE Intercepter is actually supposed to be the next step from vaders advanced so the mass increase and addition of multiple guns would have made sense to me before.

Needless to say, If I had been the one making decisions, things would have been a bit more like the XWing vs TIE series including the missions and capital ships. What we have now is a far cry from all of that.

My biggest hope currently. More pilots in space. I believe to make that happen the Dev's need to do a balance pass on the ships. Of course, that would probably end up being a lot like the CU which scares the living hell out of me.

For now, my call is for balance. I hate when my Rebel Ace friends tell me they won't go to DS due to JSF's flying around. Anything that helps that situation without making the new ships completely useless would be fine by me.

Something to help with perspective. More so than the ground game us pilots need to stick together for the good of the space game. Thats going to mean compromise in some area's. I'm willing to give up somethiung here if we all gain something there. Turning on each other and fostering flame wars just makes the Dev's think "These people don't know what they want, just NERF it all and tell them we know whats best for the game"

Thats not a good solution. Continue to fight NERFs but at the same time insist on BALANCE.

Here is more unbalancing

A CL 1 can supposedly do the quests for the JSF, yet the greivous currently requires a full group of max template jedi to ATTEMPT to get it

Plus the greivous quest is bugged

Plus the greivous ship is bugged for lots of people (by lots i mean the handful who have it)!

Plus as mentioned before - if having 1 ship that is vastly overpowered is unbalancing to all other ships, adding another vastly overpowered ship to compete with it does not make BOTH balanced with the other ships in game.

Whats the problem with getting killed in deep space? If they removed decay from all PvP space deaths no matter where, you'd see ALOT more PvP. I for one cant even go to DS because my frames drop 20 points. So, if I wanna PvP i need to do it in 'open' sectors like endor space or kessel.

I wouldnt give a flying fook if I got killed in space if it meant no decay.

thats another good point - what is with the serious drop in framerates in DS and other space sectors about - especially after their recent server maintenance?

I was talking with an imp pilot and he said it had to do with Bwings spamming shots at the Star Destroyer. He said once theyre cleared the frames go back to where they should be ... Problems is, soon as you waste the ships that lag you out they just respawn a few minutes later.

However, this may just be how he sees it. I went to DS the other day for repairs and my FPS was 2!!!

To add to this: In Naboo space i have a nice even 30 FPS, in kessel its around 20-25, in dathomir its 12-17, in endor its 12-17, in DS it rarely gets about 12 and bottomed out at 2 the other day. I went back to DS and it went back to 'normal' at 12. Funny thing about the fps though, sometimes 12-15 is fine, other times 12-15 seems like a slide show.

But what Id really like is too have my settings running like they do in naboo space. Why dont I have an option to turn off memory sucking effecting like lightning and nebulas?

Here's the thing, JTL was never meant to be a one on one PvP game. It was meant to be 10 on 10. 20 on 20. 30 on 30. Never one A-Wing versus one TIE. Look at the movies. The coolest thing aboutStar Warswas seeing hundreds of ships (all DIFFERENT kinds) go at it.

I can guarantee if you take 20 JSFs against 5 Krayts, 5 A-Wings, 5 B-Wings, and 5 X-Wings the more diverse group will win every time...

So yes, the JSF has the upperhand against 1 lonely little X-Wing just as the A-Wing has the upperhand against an Oppressor but that's not the way it's supposed to be IMO.

Actually, your wrong here! the game should not be fixed according to "how its meant to be" but actually according to HOW IT REALLY IS!

And where do you get the idea an Awing has the upper hand against an Oppressor - THIS IS NOT THE GROUND GAME - no one ship has the upper hand - they are all balanced - you can take out any ship in the game with any other ship in PvP if you know what your doing and have good skills( before the introduction of ROTW ships)! The Opp may have less manouverability than the Awing but you can carry 8 times the firepower!

I seriously think youv'e never seen the movies and I'm about 99% certain you've never played JTL. JTL is not meant to be played as a one on one PvP shooter. If you want that then I'd suggest that you check out the old Falcon series.
