Thread: so, i went PVPing in a Scyk.... and Aramiss was in his Z95...

RGI'S A CHEATER'S SHIP!!! ARRRRRRGH!
If the Devs cared or were going to do anything about it, they would've by now - I was among the first to send a /tell to Tomo through testing done with an RGI-preferring friend of mine that the wings were invulnerable - this is BEFORE I saw the hitbox.
While I might concur the hitbox is pretty goddamned small, on the deed itself it mentions the Interceptor is meant to have a hard-to-hit profile.
Also, it's not IMPOSSIBLE to hit this thing. I've sparred with a friend of mine (whose RGI I specced and fitted myself, so we're not talking low-shelf crap on this thing). I could hit him just fine. Granted - it took longer than usual (and he had a 4-6 point PYR advantage over my L6), but *cough* he wasn't invincible, I just had to fly more defensively.

as i said before, we have no leader in the sqdrn but i am the guild leader of DHARA. so norram and i should sit down, and try and talk things over and come up with something. I don't know too many people outside my sqdrn that does pvp in space so i'll have to depend on norram getting the word out to the other squadrons. as i said, i just started to pvp in the last 2-3 weeks. The full squadron will listen to what i tell them. if i say don't do this, they won't. now, if only we could get the other pilots to come to terms. Especially ur friend norram, starts with a D... forget now..... he seems to like that RGI too much to let it go. and refuses to believe its not working right.

I tried on Bria for along time mate. I won't be coming back for the reason that all the pilots who could actually kill me...left long before I transferred and basically any sign of competition was dead. My quest for self piloting improvement reached it's peak on Bria. Transferring to Starsider, the apparent 'place to be' for JTLS was the best choice I had if I wanted to improve because I am improving.
Btw. As for other pilot pvp'ers on Bria, your best choice of Rebel pilot is Growken without a doubt. He'd even do well on Starsider, in fact better than well...he'd shine.

oh no you aren't!!!! ur making a rebel, and coming to play with me! chop chop. make a rebel on Bria and the squadron will accept you in, and get your ship in good shape again. we are a little low on lvl 8 engines and weapons lol, but other than that, we have a good selection to fit your ship with. NOW DO IT

it would be cool if leaph came back, i didn't even know he left till i noticed on here that he switched servers.......oh well, gotta move on i guess
but anyways yeah, Norram, Kreindhild and myself all need to sit down one day and discuss this issue, i may not be on tonight, as i have to go to bed early to get up for a job interview, but friday is good for me....i think

Friday would be good for me. And you missed it ,Aramiss. I went to DS in my heavy tie again. I think a heavy Z95 vs Heavy Tie would be interesting. *grin I was talking to the guys and I think we are going to all come to DS in heavy ties one evening. We can battle in the OT fighters for a change. hehe

that would be cool, everyone in heavy z95s ties and sckys.......or even weirder, normal noob ships.
i may have a complete starter ship one day if i go for the 3rd reb squadron, in that case i will be in ds with a starter ship......i have a bet going of wether or not its possible to blow the ISD with a starter ship, with complete prototype part layout, just as you recieved the ship......i think its possible, just will take an hour and a half

LOL Well, you might be able to do it...but yeah it would a very very long time and I'm sure by the time you got close an imperial would jump in the system and fry you in your starter ship. Let me know when you are going to attempt it and I'll watch you do it and let anyone imps who come in what you are attempting. Getting people to pvp in DS in starters would be really hard to work out, I think. But I'm sure I can get my guys to go along with the OT fighters. I even know someone who likes to fly a bomber so perhaps we can have a Ywing Z95, Tie, andTie Bomberbattle. hehe

Yeah, Kreind, Scyks are pretty cool. lol They are a decent pvp choice for freelancers who won't use the Actis or the Bel. I have to warn you though, my heavy tie is sweet and that extra 5k mass that it gives me that I don't have in the JSF is used rather well. BTW, I don't have any missiles on it... for that matter I took them off of the JSF to fit a rather nice engine on it (Regardless of what Rapax might think of me I did learn a lot from him and I appreciate the time he took to go over basic stuff with me eventhough I didn't use it correctly before my LOA from SWG). So, my engine and my guns are what I have been using towin (and lose haha)fights now. I still might use those missiles on my bel though... or on my deci when I get it. But for now I just have my guns, a good engine, and CM in case you all get some funny ideas about sending missiles my way (ie. korbyn hehe).
