Thread: so, i went PVPing in a Scyk.... and Aramiss was in his Z95...

But for now I just have my guns, a good engine, and CM in case you all get some funny ideas about sending missiles my way (ie. korbyn hehe).
lol me? use missles? nah, but i might be up tonight in my Heavy Scyk... so i guess we will see.
after pub 24 we gotta get a decimator vs nova battle going. that would kick major ass

Pace did that to me last night when we ran into each other first in Deep Space. I ripped a line from XWA for my response: "Not today, bootlicker!" 'Course, it would've been better if I had been flying a Firespray and responded that way.

Yeah, np. It was fun. We'll do it some more. I'm already getting some imps to put together some heavy ties. Streea- is getting his ready. Derthon and I are ready and I'm getting my squadron on it also. I think I have a couple of people who'll fly bombers. lol If there is enough interest, and I think there is, I am thinking that we can do weekly pvp events. Start out small and build it up. I have some ideas for theme nights such as a OT fighter only battle and perhaps another night a clone warera battle with just bels, jsfs, and arcs. hehe We'll see. I have been talking to other pilots and they are interested in getting scheduled pvp events going.

Shame more imps couldnt get into it like i did. There shouldnt be no one pilot navy, even in jest - kinda sucks.

that sounds good, i kinda like the idea of a clone relics battle, and like i said, once pub 24 goes live, massive POB battles.....i'll be there in my Y-8
mabey also on another night of hte week, mabey get a pvp practice session going, so the new pvpers, like me can practice and get a little bit better, basically it would be like regular pvp, but when defeated, the winner shold tell theloser what went wrong and how to fix it, kinda like you did with me, then i applied what you said and did a little better

Yeah, I like the idea of pob battles. And sure we can do practice sessions. We have been doing it all week in deep space with me, Streea-, Idiot Savant (Sho'nuff') and Korbyn. My knowledge of pvp isn't that extensive, really. I am just good at picking up what I learn from others and going with it as best I can. But I'll help, of course, as best as I can.
I have been talking with my guild and there is a lot of interest in setting up these pvp events. I have some ideas (which I shall borrow from Starsider, thank you guys very much)that involve roleplaying scenarios. These should take place out of deep space for maximum participation. As for chassis degradation, well, we have to live with it, but everyone can agree to not target engines specifically to prevent degradation of that valuable component. We need to talk more about some specific scenarios that we'd like to do and put together storyline that we can build on and develop. Basically we can use any fighter for these events except the RG, but I'd like us to stay away from the clone wars era fighters unless we are going to do a clone wars event. I know that this would benefit the rebels more, but hey, I like a challenge. I'm not so bad in my heavy tie. 
I do like the idea of a Tie/Bomber vs Z95/Ywing battle and I think that should be our first event. Just as test run. We have all fought in our main pvp craft against each otherat some point in time and it would be enjoyable to go at it with the heavy variants. hehe. I'll chat more with you all in game soon on it.
