Ok, I jus tried the Vette with my group and we couldnt destroy it in time (It jumped to lightspeed)
Is it a 2 hour wait or a different time?

I am a 4 3 3 3 Imperial Pilot. As a Shipwright I am going to have to bribe some ACE with a YT with lots of free Spacebombs... That or I will have to give this a try. Sounds to easy to be true.... I fear certain death awaits me .... Just doing the final third Tier mission where there was a Liberty Boat Ship was hard enough.... I will have to have some ACE teach me that is on my server. Most of the good posters seem to be not on Corbantis.....

Well without using missles you have to take some hits getting the shields down, excluding the fighters (and T5 for afew seconds)i think its possible to take out the gunboats and let the corvette go to the exit point at which it will stay stationary while you blow it up with ease. Ill test this theory out today i think.

WOOT! I JUST destroyed my Vette! I followed this guide to the period and Aced Pilot! THANKS a LOT for the help! 
As of 7/7/05, KyleStarwalker is the newest Ace Pilot in Scylla!

im so confused! im neutral pilot got the mission from Admiral Burke on corrilea. i tried the RSF one but i destroyed it and nothing happend, which vette am i meant to do?

Burke is rebel, hence your flying for the rebellion. Imperial vette (star Ravanger) is what your looking for
RSF is imperial alligned, therego they kill the rebel corvette.

Gotta bump this, I thx this guide. Did it in 20 min and it was great. I had a group waiting with me and they got bored and didnt think it could be done.

Your preface says use a mark 3 concussion launcher.. which only damages shields?

components are kind of weird, as any missle will work on them. I recommend concussion because of the higher damage and better overall ultility then seismic, that and MK II IR's are expensive, and dont stack in large quanities. Space bombs are not cost effective, and have a low ammo count.

OK, I've been waiting for the stupid vette to spawn, and so far nothing. A friend, who's an ace, went and scouted the area out, and found nothing, no starfighters, no gunboats. Am I missing something here?
And I"m sure I"m not going to be the first to say this spawn system sucks BIG time![]()

Don't worry there are people like me, who every now and then go into Kessel, just to make sure that there are no gunboats at both exits

This is a fantastic guide. This was my first experience with a corvette (period), and I soloed it without any hassles whatsoever. Didn't even need to CTSS except against the TIE aggressors, and then only because I couldn't be bothered jousting them. The only couple of concerns were when I got hit by the corvette pulling the fighter escort (took offa bit under half my rearshields), and dodging the hail of blaster fire during the strafing run on weapon 5. There's really no excuse for not taking out the gunboats, you can easily get in and stay in their blind spot and it makes finishing the corvette that much easier. Only needed six missiles, the secondary shield and the bridge went downwith one each.
