Y'know.. a thought just occured to me.
If "everyone" thinks these ships are so out of balance and causing so many problems... why is it all the experienced Ace's still fly them?
With all the sanctimonious speechs about Nerfing them, balanceing then, etc.. If every "Ace who cares about balance and PvP" stopped flying these wouldn't that mean the only people using these ships would be a bunch of newbie's and such?
Yeah
Sometimes it is just about looks folks. Not everyone flies something to be uber, although that sure is a motivating factor lol.

I so wish the T/I had like... 15K more mass for a total of 65K. I dont fly a RGT/I to be uber or for its small hitbox.

Funny how anything remotely Jedi related ends up like this; it's "uber", everyone wants one, and if you don't have one, you're SOL. But try and get changes put in, and anyone who has one shouts you down for trying to take away their I Win button.
That's not it at all. It's just that you pointed out the main problem in your initial post when you said "I can't hit it" There are lots of confirmed reports of Vaksai pilots who thrive on shooting down JSF, and even more posts on how aiming in a Vaksai is an acquired skill.
There are 2 things at work here in reality, the JSF's hotbox, and your shootbox. Begging to make the JSF's hitbox bigger because you don't know the quirks of your shootbox isn't the answer. Begging to make your shootbox smaller by asking for "convergence" isnt the answer either. Learning to aim is in fact, the answer.
Also, if the JSF is out turning you, you should post what sort of engine you are using here. Im betting that's a big source of your woe.
10 credits says its a crafted L9, any takers?

It's too SMALL!! My Vaksai's guns wouldn't even begin to be able to hit it; it fits *inside* the weapons spread! And considering most of those things are flying 1k+ speed, you can forget about trying to line up a good shot!
Im gonna go out on a limb and say he has a point.
Since ROTW, space pvp ships have become smaller, and faster. All the newbie cries for PvP damage reduction? Sony's done just that, only in reverse. Instead of increasing damage mitgation, theyve increased damage avoidance. I know im probably gonna get flamed for this, but i think were too small, and too fast now. Even a newbie can survive for awhile in space pvp with a fast, small hitbox, ROTW fighter.

p.s. No, I didn't lose to one, but the blasted thing kept running from me and I couldn't kill it, so I just jumped out in frustration.
Bonus points for the most original thread this year.... /sarcasmOff
Flying my TIE Intercepter I take out JSF's like it's going out of style.
If you can't hit them then I suggest practice practice practice... go to endor and start taking out tier 4 droid fighters.
Also, the JSF is not "uber" or "unbeatable". I've done it in a Z95, TIE Intercepter, Hvy TIE, Oppressor, Hvy XWing.... and yes.. even in an ARC170.
I'm not saying it's easy, but it shouldn't have to be. Try using missles, try aiming for their engines. One of my favorite things to do is rip the wings off of AWings/JSF's and then swing around for the kill.
Oh yeah, it's also not a question of speed. Speed is determined by the engine. So, you could fit out any other fighter with nearly identical stats in terms of speed and turning. It may not be exactly the same but close enough to do the trick.
I'm not trying to flame ya, but any thread that has "NERF" in the title gets greeted with a certain amount of anomosity. Personally, instead of nerfing anything I think they should just fix Engine Overload so I can watch everyone scream.
