If you have been playing this game since launch(not saying you have), the first mention of a space expansion clearly stated there would be Jedi only ships. Why not let Jedi have their own ships? Is there any good reason not too? Sure you payed for JTL just like them, but they also spent a lot of time grinding, whether it be hologrinding or FS grinding, to unlock Jedi. I am not saying the ship should be better or worse than anything out there currently, but ffs, quit crying about stuff the DEV's haven't even talked about or released any additional information on.

No need to jump to conclusions this is clearly a trophy ship, just like the FireSpray. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on one, even though I'm not a Jedi just to bang around in.
I think that "tie" style ship in the link may be a mining ship?

Its been said before, but by all indications, the Star Wars universe has been at a technological platue for thousands of years. You're thinking in terms of earth, where we've had a massive change in technology over a very short period of time. We don't see the same thing happening in the Star Wars universe. The technology of the prequels and the technology of of the old repulblic seems to be just about the same as the technology of the Imperial era. We've seen periods of human history on earth were technological advancement has virtually stopped, or even gone backwards, so its not like such a thing is unheard of or impossible. Another thing to keep in mind is Lucas's influences for the Star Wars setting. One of his supposed influences was Asimov's original Foundation trilogy. The Foundation trilogy tells the story of a galactic empire that's entering into a new dark ages, in which technological advancement comes to a halt and actually goes backwards for a while. I'm not suggesting that the Star Wars universe is slipping backwards in technology, but I do think Lucas was influenced by the idea of an empire in decay in which technological advancement had pretty much come to a standstill.

From what i gather from this statement, not the IGN second hand news statement, that there will no jedi specific ship, but a shipmodeled after the jedi starfighter. It had to be made by some company under a contract. Wasn't an eclusive ship for jedi only i bet. They said new starcraft INSPIRED by ROTS.
There will be more than just that ship, as they said there will be ships with mining space as its main purpose, the fighter is just another ship to be able to fly. It adds a little bit more variety and flavor to the game.

Episode III Rage of the Wookiees also introduces a new type of game play: The lucrative but daring space mining adventures allow players to mine asteroids throughout space (including the new Kashyyyk space sector), collecting valuable raw materials for sale to ground-based crafters. Any starcraft can be modified for space mining, but dedicated miners will earn a sophisticated high-end ship, allowing them to traverse space while mining and fighting with up to 19 friends as shipmates!
Hmm.....sounds like the miner profession might be coming into the game or some type of it. a mining craft for dedicated miners to earn. Ok, sophisticated high-end ship for big time mining parties. Woohoo, wash off the coal dust from your face and have a margaretta. lol.

3) Stop acting like a fool. Anyone with a brain knows they are not gonna give Jedi some uber Jedi only ship. Jedi have no extra powers in space and no extra weaknesses.

At least its ugly! Seriously though its like a A-wing squished together with a TIE Advanced... (with its wings on backwards?). Just think ill stick with my sleek slim Nova and A-wing...... Though the mining ship looked neat!

I'm a bit disappointed in the space portion of the next expansion. I was really hoping for more ships, not just a Jedi fighter and a mining craft. I was hoping for some more Alliance and Imperial ships. And another ship slot or two in or datapad. 
(Or atleast a better way to "redeed" and store our ships, like with all the components and paint customizations on it.)
