Kyryxus; "Out of curiosity where do you get escort missions against tier 4 Black Sun?"
If you are privateer then the RSF pilot trainer in the Palace in Theed, I think at wp -5455 4679.
You don't have to be RSF to take his duty missions either. I'm Smuggler's Alliance 4444 and she gives them to me without the slightest fuss.
I got my helmet just the other day from one of these duty missions.

That is the destroy mission. I found out about an escort mission that spawns even more tier 4 black sun, I guess it is given at the Dant mining outpost Cantina, I haven't had any luck with the TONS of destroy missions I've done (save for a ton of cash lol).

only tier 4 black sun ships drop them. Even though they are not called Aces, I think that is where the confusion lies.

Think you're talking to the wrong trainer. You need the woman in the upper room across the hall from the librarian. She gives tier 4/5 Black Sun Destroy missions.

Thanks fellas, I will give both ideas a try tomorow. Will try a female trainer which I have not found yet when searching in Theed it only shows Cpt Dinge in the Capital, and cannot remember the guys name in Cornet who passes out the escort, but will look for other trainers, those were the two privateers I found closely matching the description of the missions people were finding. Also, I will not waste the time anymore on the lower tiers as its single pass waves as they all fall to the glory of my Pirate ship lol. Thanks again.....

The Corsec trainer that hands out the missions is not in Coronet, he is in the Mining Outpost of Dantooine.
All the RSF trainers are in the Palace, the deeper you go, the higher their tier. The one you want is in the first room on the right off the great hall (the big room near the back).

Yeah, my mistake.
The escort mission is from Dantoonie. I prefer the destroy mission from the RSF in Theed because the escort mission gives no chance for a break. At least with the destroy mission I can take a break and float in space for a little bit. And the money is better.

I looted one of these last night and did a PC on my trade forum and got a response thata guy has 17 in his bank and he says they are totally worthless...but im sure i have heard of em goin for 20-50 mil....this is not a price check thread...i was just curious if anyone knows the drop rate on these...i looted one on like my third kill so i dont have much to base it on...but i have also heard of people killin black sun ships for over 8 hours and never gettin one

The drop rate is very low, you were lucky to get it that soon.
The guy that said he had 17, was either lying, or he bought them just to say he has them. I've known people that have killed thousands of ships and not gotten one.

I was lucky to get one of these after about 2 hours worth of killing BS's when doing my Tier 3 or 4 missions (Reb pilot) out of Lok. I was stupid and sold it for way too little before I knew what it was. I am not on the hunt for another one (To keep this time) and have spent around 24 solid hours (broken into 2 hour chunks over and over again over about 2 weeks) and still not gotten one. I am an Ace now and going back to Arkon on Lok to get the BS Tier 3/4 mission. I am getting some other decent loot and making around 200k every run on this mission but still no BS Ace Pilot helmet.........
They are rare. Keep what you have. If you plan to sell it I've heard 7mil from one server and as much as 30mil on another server.....
