its an ugly helmet. If i ever loot one, i going to put it up for auction. i rather have the neutral helmet instead, so i don't look like i am a ugly droid.

Well to make things more interesting, just 500k xp (about 150 kills) after looting my first helmet, I looted a second. They may be rare but I seem to be lucky

I've been doing blacksun duty missions for days now and no helmet drop. 
It's getting discouraging.
Furthermore the damned blacksun don't seem to drop components as often as other NPCs.

Either my friend and I was extremely lucky, we got ours on the same day... doing rebel black sun duty missoins.. or this is stealth nerfed.
We have done 10+ dutys from the point when the drop was active until we got the the helms.
after that we have done the same duties at least 20+ times.. at least. no helmet.
Personally I think its brilliant looking.. to bad its considered armor and not clothing as the frelancer ace helmet

Looted one three days ago doing Black Sun duty missions. Tier 4 from the rebel trainer in the hotel on Lok.

glad to here it stll drops but it seems to only be dropping on duty missions. bummer for anyone who's past those missions b4 the helmet even started dropping

You can still take Tier 4 duty missions even after you ace...

I know a guy who looted it off a non-duty mission(some blacksun multigun ship). Its just duty missions give you enough spawns that your able to get alot of blacksuns on your radar(specially escort[though destroy make you more green]).

Quick question on the helm. Someone was telling me that the Black Sun Ace helm is only wearable at master Pilot, and is non tradeable. Is that the case?

Wearable by anyone that is not wookiee or ithorian and tradable
Got my 2nd one a few days ago (gave it to a friend)
