so you have something like:
meters per second...velocity...
meters per second per second...acceleration...
meters per second per second per second...jerk...

You know how the saying goes in parachuting...
It's not the fall the kill ya...it's the sudden stop...
That's Jerk in action....

Using the actual definition makes this conversation infinitely less ammusing, however.
