got shot down by a rebel in a eta-2 today. don't see what the big deal is. A) the hitbox is the same as a tie, yeah it looks bigger but it'spretty darn close Huh, the htibox on the JSF is the smallest in the game. .B) it's good pvp has difficult to hit ships now, thisshould please all those people out there who think pvp is over too quickly PvP is over more quickly now because everyone uses superfast ships that can outmanouver everything else so they ususally die in a missile barrage.
irate about the eta-2s turn speed? why don't people complain about the similarly hitboxed heavy tie with similar turn rates and similiar mass? i don't see any "nerf heavy tie" threads out there. the z-95 hitbox isn't that big, where are the threads calling for that nerf If you read the posts everyone is calling for a balance on ALL ROTW ships - the JSF is just the most imbalanced therefore it gets the most attention?
you guys all have ships with similar stats, just slightly bigger hitboxes Not slightly, try 2-3 times bigger. to make up for that you have ungodly pve ships in the heavy xwing among others. where's the threads calling fora 3 gun imp fighter? you know what i could do with a heavy mass 3 gun ship in pve? and besides if you have a huge beef with imps getitng the eta-2, do what other rebels do and find a way to get the ship. unlike imps you now also have a great ship that's a prestige item as well. Being able to obtain a similar unbalanced ship as the JSF no matter what faction you are doesnt magically balance the ROTW ships it just means everyone fly 2-3 ships out of 40 ships in game - VERY boring.
mad your heavy fighter can't compete? newsflash, it isn't supposed to. complain about the lack of pvp heavy fighter content or capital ships. the ships definately have a place in pve now so don't complain too loudly Actually the heavy fighter IS suppossed to compete - it doesnt now because things are unbalanced.
i think the awing could be given a bit more handling and it probably will get a bit more If the Awing gets more hadling you will then have to rebalance EVERY other preROTW ship - it is easier to balance the 6 ROTW ships than it is to invent a new balance system and apply it to the 30 odd original ships so as to keep the current stats of the new ships intact, but it's honestly not that big of a deal Balance is a big deal, ever hear of the CU. not everyone is going to be flying that ship exclusively and if they are, they are doing it for the novelty of flying a new ship, there are other fighters out there that are essentially the same thing. Yup everyone will be flying a greivous or JSF, or a heavy starter if they havent done the quests yet, rather than pone out of the original 30 ships that are now outclassed in every area! wont that be fun - NO!

Well, probably becausea lot of players have fundamental problems with the implementation of this item. IMHO the worst problem with this is the addition of quest flags to the certification system.
There were several other ways to prevent annoyed customers with regards to the Eta-2 and ARC-170. If they are not limited for some legit in-game reason (Imp controls vs. Rebel controls for example) then they should simply be usable by anybody.

I love my krayt too. I just like flying the Greivous fighter/JSF when I want to play around with something lighter and quicker.
Still can't seem to stay away from my krayt though

There have always been ships that are better than others. Always. From day 1 of JTL. New ones come along, as they should. Otherwise everyone would fly the same ship they flew the day the mastered, which would be pretty damned uninteresting.
Once upon a time, it was the X-Wing/Rihk in PVE, and the A-Wing/TIE-Adv in PVP. There's really nothing unwell with the world when the Krayt/Adv-X and Grev/JSF/Heavy-Scyx/Z/TIE dominate these respective fields now.
And to those that run to a web forum to whine the moment they get beaten by one of these ships, maybe you need to reevaluate your skills as a pilot before you instantly blame the other guy's ship. Get better.

eta 1 was the jedi starfighter Obiwan Flew to kamino on Episode2, for the clonewars kuat made the Eta 2 which is the one in Episode 3, and theres another jedi starfighter the one that anakin Flew in season 1 of the clone wars animated series, that is modiffied by him i think it even has a hyperdrive install no need for hyperspace ring

Actually, variety in the cartoons aside I think that those are both intended to be the SAME ship...in other words the one Obi-Wan was flying in Ep2 was the same thing Anakin had in the cartoons - with the cartoon one being heavily modified.

exactly.
i flew the advanced and awing exclusivly until rotw hit and then i got a eta-2. yes its more powerful than other ships, but hey whats the point of putting out a new ship if its worthless. if you want to be able to compete with people that have the new ships, then fly one yourself. its like people are complaining about a tie bomber being usless in pvp when they could go out a buy an advanced. if you hate that everyone else flys an advanced and you want to fly your bomber, does that mean the bomber should be just as good in pvp as an advanced?
fly the ship that gets the job done. if that ship is "not your style" then you will have to get over it being better. its your choice to fly it or not.
you can have my actis when you pry my dead lifeless body out of it, and that aint gonna happen anytime soon.

Dark Jedi Enforcer here (well as soon as they turn the force rank back on) Been helping alot of my Jedi friends level pilot since PvP has amounted to waiting in front of Coro starport for a BH or two to show up. If it was Jedi only, I know 5 that would be flying on Tempest for sure.
So I am a rebel on the ground and in the air. I'm up to switch just to get this ship and then switch back. As seeing how I'm new to that process, how does that work? What do I have to do and buy?
