I can't unpack my ARC post Publish 18, but I think its due to a different bug. I had the same problem with my Actis. When I switched to Rebel I could unpack it fine, but once I did the ARC quest it stopped working. Now that I went back to Imperial to do the quest over again, the same thing happened with the ARC. I was able to unpack it and use it until I completed the Jedi Starfighter quest. Both times the entries in my completed quest log disappearedwhen I did the other quest. It would appear that the quests occupy the same "slot" within the memory of the quest log. I don't know if this is a bug or intended.

don't redeed them...when you have them generated...you have 6 lots avalible for ships...redeed the other more common ships to free up a space. that would be my solution...i have the JSF and the ARC...went imp to get the JSF...generated it...then went reb again to get the bugged ARC. they fixed it and now i have both but i will never redeed the JSF...thou i am now thinking of redeeding the Y-8. nice ship on the inside but slow and unweildy.

I deeded my ARC after finishing my last nuet squad. Then when I went back to Imperial I can no longer generate the ship. I Finished the quest for it when I was a Vortex Ace. I send a ticket in because NOW I really need the ARC for helping my pals on quests.

The message that comes up says I haven't done the quest needed to fly the ship, Thats tottally wrong.

Ok, heres how it went with me. This is still bugged for me as of this date.

I was Master Smugglers Alliance Pilot, completed the quest and flew the ship around. Decided I wanted the JSF, deeded the ARC and became a Novice Storm Squadron Pilot. Got the JSF, went Rebel again and joined Crimson Phoenix. Got to 4-3-3-3 Crimson Phoenix Rebel Pilot, I could generate and fly the JSF fine but the ARC is still deeded and says I need to complete the quest to fly it even though I was flying it before. Quest is still complete in my journal with no fix in sight.

Don't send a Ticket in, CSR will tell you ARC-170 IS REBEL only, like he told me, when I was flying it as Imperial, and my JSF while i was Rebel.

So is there anyone out there who still can't deed their ARC after publish 18?

I haven't tried it yet, as that fix wasn't announced. I'll try tonight and see what happens.

Tried it, and it works! (Kinda strange though... if they fixed it, why not say so in the release notes for the patch?)

Could we get a definitive answer as to whether we can fly both ships, reguardless what faction we are in, As long as we did both quests?

I mean the fact that the the JSF and ARC is Cert on the 4XXX of every pilot tree, no matter what faction, leads us to believe that you can fly them all...

Thanks.

I had the same problem too. Failed the last mission but was given the deed for the ship.

After the last patch I too can generate the ship finally. I'm getting another problem now but its only a graphical bug when I launch into space.

The main weapons do not appear on the wing where they should be. The right side weapon has shifted 5 feet towards the body away from the wingtip. It's now almost in the middle of the wing. The one on the left wing though is even worse. It has shifted about 5 feet away from the wing all together and just sits out in space. When I fire the weapon, the graphics for the weapon appear where they should be.

Anyone else have this problem?

I have this prob with most weapons on my ARC.

I'm a master Smuggler's Alliance / ground Reb. I got my ARC not to long after RotW came out and generated it fine. I decided I wanted the JSF, so I only dropped ground Reb and got the JSF. Went back ground Reb and generated the JSF. I now have both of them in my datapad. If you are a neutral pilot, there is no reason to drop that squad to get either the ARC or JSF.

everytime i try and generate the arc170 AFTER COMPLETING the quest i get "you must first complete the quest to generate this ship" message. i went 161,000 experience in the hole and had to re-grind that using a friggen starter ship to get back to imperial pilot. i completed the arc170 quest as a total noob pilot in the starter Z95. after going through all that hell i cant generate the ship

Yes this is the same problem I am having. It if you redeed your ARc (or never generate it after doing the ARC quest) and then do the JSF quest and get the JSF, that you wont be able to re-generate the ARC. You get a system message saying, you have not completed the quest.

If you generate it and leave it in your datapad... then I guess it works fine.

I wonder, If I drop imp pilot and go up rebel pilot tree again and try for ARC17), Will I be allowed to re do the quest? Anyone know?

i had already done the JSF quest and my starfighter was already in my datapad when i did the arc170 one. i am just pissed i cant use a quest reward i went through hell to get. i dont think there is anyone that has done the arc170 quest finaly mission in space with a starter z95...
