Thread: ARC 170 Deeding Problems
IMO This has nothing to do with whether you did both quests.
Here's what I did.
I worked to Vortex squad rebel ace.
I did the ARC quest.
I played with the ARC for a while then decided to put it away till they fix the gun positions and turrets. (re-deeded it)
I droped Vortex squad rebel.
I imediatly re-joined Vortex squad rebel (exact same squad/faction)and worked back to ace.
Now I cannot generate my ARC. "you have not completed the quest to generate this ship"
1) When you drop a pilot profession you loose not only all exp and pilot skills, but also your space mission log.
2) These new wookie world quests involve both space and ground missions, and the final result is a space flagging to use the reward ships.
What is happening is when you drop a pilot profession you're loosing your space missions from these quests. They are reseting, however the ground portions of these missions are not reseting.
Also whatever flag system is in place that flags you to use the ship may be reseting as well when you drop pilot profession.
This is the same problem that I have with Eyma and Ry's missions. I did the Vaksai back when I was a privateer and now I cannot do the heavy X-wing. Because Eyma (ground portion) thinks I have already done all his quests, while Ry (space portion) was reset.
I have explained all of this in several tickets and gotten nothing but BS cut-n-paste "CSR's can't help you with any of the new expansion missions, sorry, and thank you for your money"
btw, when's the ARC's weapons going to be fixed? Seriously it's a simple graphics bug.
And what about all the other ships with similar problems? The B-22's question mark "default appearance" box, the TIE aggressor's rear turretetc. etc. etc.

In my experience it is.
The Dant repair stuff may be flagged differently and doesn't reset.
The point is that the problem happens when you drop your profession, some of the parts are reseting and others are not. Somehow the flag that allows you to generate the ARC is reseting when you drop profession.
Is there anyone who has been able to generate thier ARC from it's deed after droping profession?
Is there anyone who has not been able to generate thier ARC from the deed (excluding the 5 badges bug) after completing the mission but before droping profession?
Here's an interesting idea...
If you imperial aces were to go rebel on the ground, complete the ground based quests for the ARC-170, then meet a rebel ace with a Nova Courier and man a turret - you would be able to shoot at the TIE squadron. This would complete your mission and you could then just flip your rebel back to imp on the ground, thus never loosing your imperial ace status.
Would this bug the quest?
Furthermore - would this work in reverse for the Jedi Starfighter? I haven't read the walkthrough for that quest.
Cheers,
Aeon
