BTW it was never balanced to start with - jedi ships just allows us to keep up with your awing.

Like the TIE-Adv? Sorry but you had a suitable ship before with better YPR I might add. Why is it so many people don't read up on the specs?

yeah yeah me too. I don't want to steal the money from the bank I just want to borrow it and spend it.

Anzel, is it possible for you to post in a thread without trolling?

As far as the new Actis fighter, I would like to see the YPR dropped to match the other top-end fighters. I believe that has been suggested as a fair balance method. The mass can be left alone, but the YPR needs to be brought in line.

Might be nice if the things were craftable as well, and could be used by all players.

Question:

Have you ever played as a rebel player? Or are you just speaking from experience based on having played only the one side? It's very easy to say, "get some more skill n00b" when your sitting from a position of advantage.

Yes, currently i'm a rebel player. However i am not a rebel player in the fanboi sense. I've aced Imperial squadrons about 4 or 5 times, and most of my PvP kills i earned as an Imperial in my Tie Interceptor, *cough* and a few im ashamed to admit to in my oppressor. *rolls eyes*

My point is, rebel players do have have legitimate basis for some of their whining. Just because you havent had to experience it, doesnt mean they don't exist.

Its quite funny to see the Imps whine, cry, flame and troll over the chance they may lose their space composite armour.

But look closely and you will see the regular Imp PvPers also agree the JSF is gamebreaking. Why, well for 1 they dont want every ship in DS to be a JSF and nothing else, and secondly they actually want to pit their pilot skills against other pilots, not their loot uberishness against NPCs (as no reb will ever go in DS without a full squadron or a JSF now).

What happens when the chassis hit 0 con? You can't buy another, and it will happen one day.

I suspect thats the logic with all the reward ships. As you can never get another without rerolling your character, the limited life time and availabliity maybe the reason they're stronger than normal chips. After all when your A wing chassis is done, you can just buy a new one.

The chassis never hits 0. All it can ever hit is 10. And that means it will be flyable forever.

sure it might, in about a year or so...

on the topic of heavy Z vs JSF, i went up against Viduus, on ahazi, so yes he is a very good pilot (/salute again btw), but i did not manage to hit him once with my blasters, and i DONT like using missles (looks like ill need to finaly craft myself some image rec II's)

the 2 guns on the JSF, lets them make those one shot kills (NOT THAT I AM AGAINST ONE SHOT KILLS, OR THAT I WANT ANY DAMAGE REDUCTIoN BLA BLA BLA) when they DO manage to line up, and since its som darn small, i jsut cant hit it. i think in my 6 duels with Viduus in DS, i hit him maybe once...

But how useful will it be? If any shot got through your shields you'd be toast everytime.

PvP'd much?

If the shot penetrates your armor, you're toast. A properly equipped fighter sporting two guns will one-shot you 90% of the time. (The trick is not to get hit, btw.) Most of the saavy aces are gunning for your reactor. How many armor points/hit points does yours have? (Some of the more sadistic ones aim for your engines...not that there's anything wrong with that. hehehe.)

There's no real difference in survivability between a chassis with 10 hit points versus one with 1600. It *may* buy you another 0.3 seconds before the next burst hits, but if you're relying on chassis hp to stay alive, that means you're already crippled.

You tried fitting armor in a JSF? I'd say i could get some some in best i would be able to is some level 4 600 ones. I could change my outload but then i wouldn't have a good as shield or weapons, both which i find more useful.

Here's my setup:

Reactor: RE'd Level 1 922 Mass 13600 Output
Shield: RE'd Reward Shield Level 8 22K Mass 2555/2555 hitpoints front/back 15.75 Recharge
Ordinance: Spacebomb MKII Launcher 6.3K mass
Capacitor: RE'd Level 2 1K Mass 40.2 Recharge 1027 Energy
Droid Interface: Level 1 500 Mass 14.1 Speed
Engine: RE'd Pre-nerf Level 6 Incom Military Grade 95.9 Speed Y/P/R 69/72/68 9.5K mass
Countermeasures: Chaff Launcher 1K Mass
Gun #1: RE'd Incom Tricannon 2400-3800 damage (approx) 23K mass
Gun #2: RE'd Sienar Boltdriver 2000-3000 damage (approx) 14K mass
Booster: Level 4 RE'd Reward Booster 2100 energy 150 consumption 36 Accel 29 Speed 3K Mass

Max Speed with EO3: 1184
Max Speed with EO3 and Boost: 1437

I'll be putting in another Level 8 Reward Gun when I get it RE'd to the appropriate mass. Right now, I've got two MKII Armor with about 450 armor points each at 1800 mass. But I don't really see a point to them and the Level 8 gun will be more useful, anyway.

There's some very nice stuff there i have to say, especially the mass on that shield.

Mine got done to 29kish mass, but that is definitely some nice stuff. But as i took a long break from JTL i've not had the chance to build up so a nice load out, mine goes like this.

Reactor: RE'd Level 2 2600 mass 13k output
Engine: RE'd Level 6 reward engine, 95 speed 68 ypr, 8.5k mass
Shield: RE'd Reward Shield Level 8 29K Mass 2555/2555 hitpoints front/back 15.75 Recharge
Capacitor: Re'd level 6 1155 max, 46 recharge 8k mass (need to find a lighter one)
Droid interface: RE'd level 1 500 mass, 14 speed
Weapon 1: RE'd level 8 (made with 2 reward guns) 2500-3800 25k mass
Weapon 2: Re'd Level 6 1800-2500 9k mass

So like i said, i'm really tight for mass, and have some heavy post nerf components. If i'd of kept going at the begining of JTL i may have got a nice collecting of them, but still, its not a bad little ship.

Hate to nitpick but with only 2 guns and Cap Overload 3 you should stick a RE L2 capacitor in there. There's 6k extra mass right there.
