Check out the size comparisons in this thread. From the two dimensions of length and width, the Eta-2 is only slightly smaller than the A-Wing. I don't know about the depth, but seeing them at the same scale was actually pretty surprising.
There's a clear disparity between the PYR accel and mass of this ship and similar models and that's creating imbalances, but when it comes to a pure size comparison, I don't see a lot of difference.

Yeah the logic in this post seems off...... Imperials have the uber ship yet loose anyway.... following that I would say nerf the A-Wing cuz hes proving its the best ship in the game.

no more nerfing. game nerfed enough.
I'm for overbuffing the game.
Let's give the Imps ISDs, and the Rebels Mon Cals. We can all duke it out in DS with 75 gunners per ship.

I see most of you dont understand how the rebels won - well its simply we fired every missile we had every time we had a lock - thats it!
Its not about who won the fight its about the dynamics of the fight and it was clear to see that the new ships will dominate PvP as they are a big I WIN button against the original ships!
And the winning conditions were on who took the enemys base out first - which we did - as the rebel base was borked it seemed.
Anyway the point is you cannot have ships that are totally out of sync with all others no matter whether its a JSF or not!
There is no way a ship can have twice the manouverability and 50% more mass than its closest rival and only be available to one faction! If you cant see thats unbalanced then I dont understand you!
A lot of imp pilots seem to think the Awing is great and now they have a better ship everything is fine, well2 things on this. One you have 2 ships just as manouverable as the Awing you could just use them, instead of moaning about a balanced ship you could just, I dont know, take your factions contempories to the Awing and use them instead of getting annoyed your Opp isnt supreme at everything,and two every reb is going to go imp to get the jedi starfighter now we know it is at least twice as good as anything else in space, so from now on PvP will be like the Imp side of our battle - all JSFs and not like the rebel side of our battle - we fielded every rebel ship there is!
And once again - I dont want a nerf I just want balance like we had before the new ships arrived. Getting that balance right now is better than 2 years down the line where they release the Space Combat Upgrade and we get all our ships converted and all pilots are certed for all ships!

Once again the JSF has TWICE the turn rate and more mass than the Awing and if you think the Awing is uber get out of your Oppressor and dust off that old Advanced or Interceptor! The only reason I got so many kills is I am sneaky, very tactical, a good pilot and spent a fortune on missiles. In 2 hours of combat not one of my blaster shots hit a JSF unless I had hit its components with a missile!
Ill say this again too - In battle the superiority of the JSF is plain to see - without massed groups of ships on either side to help things out then I cant see any rebel going into DS alone or with a wingman without being strapped in one of these new mental manouverability fighters ever - unless they are mad of course.
But I gave up being mad when Imps started to learn how I flew and won with my Bwing in PvP - those were the days!

Hmm looking at that they seem the same - guess its the dark of the JSF and its slightly smaller size that makes it harder to follow than a brightly painted Awing, that plus the insane manouverability that makes drunken bumblebee NPCs look like they are fyling bathtubs. With wheels.

Yeah! Another thread that has Jedi Fighter in the title. Antother cry to nerf the Jedi Fighter? This time from somebody who won? Great.
I have two problems with the new ships in general.
1.) They are free.
2.) They are factional. Yes, I understand that the JSF is currently a reward from Vader himself but c'mon folks it wasn't the only one ever built. If there were separate quests for each faction that gave the exact make/model of these ships this whole thing would be moot.
The evil aholes over at SOE made these ships factional for a reason. No, not to give imps an advantage in PvP (which according to the original poster doesn't exist). The reason is to make you go out and buy an alt if you already don't have one.
Has anyone else noticed that you can buy the all-in-one thing for $26? Still don't believe me? O.K., how about this. Who here has a BARC speeder? C'mon. Raise your hands. Someone? Anyone? Nobody? OH! That's right, you have to BUY a separate copy than the one you already own. Hey I have an idea. While your buying that extra copy to get the BARC why don't you just go ahead and start that alt you've always wanted.
You see, there is a conspiracy. Just not the "Give Imps an I WIN button" that everyone is crying about. If you pay the extra 24.99 for RotB then you should be able to get all of the ships without buying another account.

And the JSF and othor supermanouverable fighters do have massive advantages in PvP, just not in massed space battles where it is just a melee. In one on one PvP if you dont have a JSF your dead 90% of the time!

My Y-8 outmanuvers my Nova and B-wing, the darn thing nearly handles like my Y-wing!!!!

I said in in our chat I say it again:
- we beat them despite most of them flying the JSF
- the imps were always moaning about the A-Wing cause they got nothing to match it
- go imp for a day and get it yourself, if you really can't stand the heat

More like two guild halls. At one point I found an escape pod and I was so lost I though about using it.
