Thread: RotW Bug Avoidance and Workarounds
It just makes me mad, it's like being sold a car then driving down a mountain and finding out the brakes do not work.
So then you are lying in the hospital and they say, OH we are sorry those brakes don't work. We will however fix them one day, after we take a vacation and after we work on all the other problems with the car. We tried to tell the manufacturer about the brake problem, but they are more concerned with all of the other problems with the car....Even if we manage to fix those brakes, it's not likely that we will work on yours, just first time drivers (see katarn armor issue)

Ok so much for my analogy
im not threatining to quit or 'whining' about it, I wouldn't have ever posted anything else on this issue. But this is rediculous.
In my line of work, If i sold a customer a faulty product. I can assure you that I would have to make it right somehow, and it wouldnt be after a vacation.
Oh andI definately support telling new pilots NOT to select weak. How bout we put something on the LOG IN screen or EMAIL people ingame, heck why not just FIX the friggin conversation tree? lol
most people (especially new players) do not even read the forums. IF you want to prevent this from happening, get the info to the players, dont hide the info in the forums where they look AFTER they have a problem.
This is my opinion , for whatever it's worth , It's still mine.

Added a workaround for deeding problems with the Vaksai, Heavy X-Wing, and Imperial Guard Interceptor.
I've still got the bug that prevents you from being able to complete the quest in the first place as our #1 issue.
/cheer
Would be happy to see this fixed someday.
Yes, yet another rushed release...at least they're consistent.
Small input on the ARC-170 bugs. After having to re-run it several time because of the Wookie contact bugs. I found Swoop = Bad in locating them.
On the first leg, ride the swoop to the first gate just past the Great Tree and get off of it, Proceede on foot til you get the completion messagefor arriving on Kashyyyk and STOP in that area, wait a few seconds and the wookie will materialize on the road, talk to him and WALK him back to the gate. Ignore any other versions of thefirst contact. Yours will spawn withing a few meters of you.
(It's amazing how NPC Wookies shooting at you can keep up when your running but the escorts have leg problems....Time sink, same with space escorts, the ship you were just chasing at 900 does 115 on escort)
Then go to the Slaver camp and ignore the "too far away" system messages you'll get spammed with.
On Dathomir, ride the swoop to the gate entering the prisoner area, get off and pause....you'll get the completion for the Prison break not long after, the 2 Wookies will fade in in front of you. WALK them out to the Pickup WP...again, crippled Wookies.
BE ON LEAVE for Dathomir part, then go back to Combatant on your way to the Queen at the end.
Hope this helps someone avoid doing it 5-6 times to get the Wookies to cooperate.

Here is an useful insight into re-texturing issues posted by another poster. It would be nice to have this bug squashed, but it is definetly not as high priority as over issues that (god knows how) got past beta testing.
We are currently in advanced ALPHA testing.

I'm certain that answering "weak" isn't meant to prevent you from ever getting the ship. However, nobody's found a way around it yet, so it's looking like the only thing you can do is file a /bug report and wait.
I know that's not really an acceptable answer, but I am pushing hard to get this fixed. It's at the very top of our bug list right now.
wait, i did it and now i am restarting the entire quest again. just took a while of not answering their calls

i didn't ask about the quest for about a week and then it sorta reset it
Really 2 weeks and counting for me with approximately 2500 bug reports. Everytime i walk past emya or fly to the station i talk to them then bug the fact they dont work properly!
