Can you switch from the Imp allied Neutral to the Smugglers Alliance without dropping all Tier boxes? I know someone who needs to do this, but don't want him to have to drop everything.

You can't change from any squadron to any squadron without having to drop everything.

Seeing that there's a couple unpleasant bugs that haven't been able to be dealt with yet, I thought it'd be wise to get a sticky up concerning avoidable problems in the hopes that more pilots will be able to prevent these bugs from happening to them. In light of that,

  • Don't tell Eyma the Ghrag mercenaries are weak. At some point in the Vaksai/Heavy X-Wing/Imperial Guard Interceptor quests, Eyma (the CPG guy down on Kachirho) will ask you whether the Ghrag mercenaries are strong or weak. If you say they're strong, you'll be directed to the next mission and everything will be roses and other such agreeable things. If you say they're weak, however, this seems to put pilots into a loop where they're directed between Eyma and Kashyyyk space station but never given the next mission in the series, preventing them from getting their new ships. So until this one's fixed, be sure to let Eyma know those Ghrag are a force to be reckoned with, even if you vaped them in two and a half seconds.

If anyone else has any tips for ways to avoid recent bugs, please add them here so I can edit them in to this post.

Also, finishing this quest for imperials gives a badge for the heavy x-wing instead of the crimson tie.

So you would prefer that he didn't warn his fellow pilots at all? Better late than never.

Ive submitted tickets and bugswhichim sure is making all the difference lol - not

Trust me, I'm not at all happy this hasn't been resolved yet. These new ships are the sole reason a lot of pilots ordered RotW and to have you guys stuck in a loop because of some silly "wrong" answer gets me fired up.

There are still a lot of CU and RotW issues out there, and I'd guess some of the devs took a couple deserved days off after the expansion release, but I've brought up this issue multiple times now and will continue to do so until it's fixed. This thread isn't intended as an excuse or a long-term solution, I'm just hoping it will prevent some pilots from running into the same problems too many of us already have.

I have a lot of stuck pilots waiting on thier RGT thanks to the 'weak' bug. We're trying a few different things, but to no avail yet. I hope we get a fix or someone stumbles onto a workaround.

I did hear someone say that he switched to neutral and has both the X-Wing and the Vaksai. Maybe dropping and regrinding your prof restarts the quest? Do agree it's a fairly extreme work around though.

yes, many people have gotten both, but that involves not being stuck, and switching your ground faction, not pilot profession

Just use the 2 you've got. One good squeeze and the bugs in this game are the last of your worries.

They didnt deserve a few days off... that publish should never have seen the light of day until it had at least another month (or two) of testing and bug removal.. at least as far as CU is concerned. They should have been forced to work non-stop until 90% of the bugs have been worked out instead of being a break with as many game breaking bugs are in the software currently. Show poor leadership.. and no, I'm no longer a person who dislikes the CU... I am however a software developer who has had to spend countless hours fixing someone else's mistakes for doing exactly what SWG peeps did in the CU- and you want to talk about mad... give up a few weekends trying to hunt down and fix someone else's code.. hope you guys at least document your code

Agreed on the time off thing. The job's not done, get to it, unless us subscribers get a well deserved free month or two while they finish. As for them documenting code, not likely considering all the old bugs that resurface when a new bug is 'fixed'.

I mean come on, how can you NOT notice a bug like picking one of 2 dialogue choices breaks a quest?
