I know we Rebels use TeamSpeak quite a bit on Starsider...not sure about the other side of the aisle, but I'd bet the Imps do, too.

LOL i should make a new toon there named soemthing like "Doodewheres MyTIEFighter" (or worse yet, "Bovine Scats" that acutally made it past the name filter back in my EQ days) and see how long i last.

it's probably not that intense anyway though, i just saw a guy with a likely inappropriate (and definately non RP) name run by me a while ago.

Actually, our commander runs on a dialup that can't handle SWG and Teamspeak at once, so we've never used it up there. In some ways it's better that way, though, as we have a number of new people with us most weeks, and so our text-based communication's strong enough to both integrate them easily and communicate with each other.
I dunno though, I've been meaning to get Teamspeak back up for a while now. I used it with my old guild and it was a lot of fun, especially in space.

When I read that some items can now be transfered, I felt that they were talking about stuff like the one per account vet rewards. No items with actual stats but just adding a fresh one to your inventory on the new server.
If you ask me, they make a printout of your skills and badges and bankaccount and manually enter those into the database of the server you want to join. That would be the only method that justifies the price and limitations of char transfer.
If you're going to transfer for JTL reasons, starsider is really to only option worth the money and the hassle.
