Thread: Might transfer to a new server

If you don't mind the influx of Spanish speakers after about 9pm PST any given day of the week, Radiant is a pretty well balanced server. Our resources don't seem to spawn with the kind of super-high quiality that other servers have enjoyed in the past but costs are reasonably low, there is room for a lot more competition, and though Dantooine is a bit of a mess... Talus only has four shuttleports on it. It's almost like a brand new server over there.

As for the imbalances... everyone and their mom is a respec rifleman or bounty hunter. If you're a Jedi, be prepared to a) fight every day or b) Hide on Kashyyk because simply stepping off that planet brings 4 BH's down on your head... if you even make it past the frakking starport. I almost get giddy when I see a fencer/tk with an XRIS Sword.

Lots of room and unless you have a love affair with purple and pink... a great place to settle in.

Heaven forbid it get too popular, I rather like my world small.

Yep, Omega's Greek.

And for your naming pleasure, here's the greek alphabet

Alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, eta, theta, iota, kappa, lambda, mu, nu, xi, omicron, pi, rho, sigma, tau, upsilon, phi, chi, psi, omega.

Well dang. Learn something new everyday. I never bothered to research the greek alphabet. Funny, only now do i realize Lucas was using the greek alphabet throught the sim series many of us played so much. Thanks, i feel much mo' edjumacated now!

Because you love A wings and annoyingly long escort missions?

SS isn't hard..just mind numbingly dull with those escorts. Oh..I see your point .

And ok. Made up my small narrow minded rebel mind.

Leaph stays on Bria but if possible...is this transfer service working with items yet?

If so...I'll move my Bria alt, Imperial pilot to starsider.

I chose Storm Squadron because I said to myself "I like storms. They're pretty and can be very romantic. Not that this has anything to do with the game, but I like the connection so I'll go with it." Then I hit Tier 3 and said "Sod this!" Now I make Mel Brooks and Monty Python jokes about my squadron.

Although I will say that I am strongly tempted to drop Inquisition and try Storm again now that I've made Ace. I need something else to do in space.

Well treena, i just got done redcorating my "office" in my primary house. I have entirely too many ace rewards sets. I counted 10, but i know i have 11. I dunno what i did with the 11th set. Anyway, i have 3 sets of rebel ace rewards, 4 sets of imperial, and 3 sets of privateer. What did i do with that 11th set.... better question is, what faction did i do.. i honestly lost track.

Err so ya. need something else to do in space.. theres a BIG hint for ya
Either that, or try your hand at deep space if your ever feeling adventuresome. If you seriously consider that, ill make a pair of level 1 guns and volunteer myself as a moving target in a /duel so you can get some practice. Gives you an idea on what you can expect.

Oh ya, dont worry, lvl 1 guns are perfectly safe, its nearly impossible to accidently to vape someone with them. But they incur just enough shield damage to let you know, "ok, i just got smoked if this were a real fight".

Nah, PvP isn't my thing. I'm not called the "PvE Correspondent" on the GCW boards for nothing. But I am seriously considering trying my hand at another squadron. Maybe Storm again. Maybe Epsilon. I'm pretty good with gunboats. I'd consider privateer, but I want to make certain that I am Imperial when the Lambda hits, as that is my dream ship.

Yeah i figured. I just thought id toss the offer out anyway. Just to broaden the horizons some, so to speak.

Oh ya, i just remmebered what my 11th mastery was.. RSF, i know specficially i did RSF twice, and i have all three privateer badges. Now i just got to find what i did with it so i canput it up on my trophy wall. lol.

Speaking of RSF, maybe you could try that at some point since its imp aligned? You'll get yourself an L8 reward gun and engine, and a 2X master pilot bonus out of the deal. None of that you'll get doing another imp squadron. Just an idea.

Sorry to be somewhat offtopic, but search is not working, how does someone transfer their character?

To be perfectly honest, my biggest deterant to going to a Neutral squadron is the ships. Ugly, ugly, ugly. On their entire list, I like two. The YT and the style 3 Kihraxz. One of which is at Master level, and the other of which has the same mass as my not-red Interceptor. I never could get that ship working as well as I would have liked, I don't see myself getting much more out of the Kihraxz. Which is a pitty, because it is a really nice looking ship. About the only one in their tree that can say that.
