Thread: Poll: What's your favorite ship to fly
I Only have 2 ships currently in data pad.
The Jedi Starfighter.
The Decade Dodo. (YT-1300 to the rest of us
Although I have a bit of a soft spot for the Rihkxyrk (man where do they come up with these names?!) and the good 'ol Kryat.
I have to pick one? ![]()
The Actis is a joy to fly, but I know it's too good and needs to be reduced.
My favorite two ships, then, are...
The X-wing, for both style and power. Even before the Advanced X-wing came out, I loved flying an X. It's very movie-like, and it is very well balanced for PvE. A bit tricky to use in PvP, but some of the best Rebel pilots I know made their names flying X-wings pre-RotW.
The B-wing for overall offensive firepower. I've been playing around in mine a *lot* lately, and with four level 8 reward cannons, it can chew through almost anything really, really quickly. With 240k mass to play with, it can be a lot of fun.
All around, the dunelizard is probably my fav, or at least the one i used the most.
so far my favorite is the Rihkxyrk (love the lil winglets!) with dual IPCs
I just got the Grievious, but I'm new to the whole low mass, high performance dogfighter build. Anyone mind tossing me a link to a thread with tips on outfitting one of these little gals?
For general PVE, I use my advanced X-Wing, the Nightflyer II. I have two level 10 RE'd Corellian Beamrail Gauss Cannons and a level 8 RE'd Borstel disruptor on it, as well as a Mark III Concussion Missile launcher...the damage output is in the upper obscene /grin.
In Deep Space, I use the Nightflyer II if I am not planning on taking down the SD (it's kind of a big target). If I am planning on the SD, I use my JSF, the J Bomb, which has my RE'd level 10 engine for truly awesome turning rates and two RE'd level 7 ionic pulse reward cannons for damage output. No booster or launcher though.
My neutral alt (second account) uses his Krayt mostly, it's well armed with level 9 quickshot blasters. My Imperal alt (unlock char) uses a Grievous with two level 7 quickshots.

Low mass? The Bellbulub is not a low mass dogfighter, a low mass dogfighter is 65k or less.

for pvp its a tossup between a bel22 (if im solo) or an a wing (if im grouped)
only reason i use the bel22 while solo is that 99% of the time on bria if your in ds and see an imperial player theyre at least flying with 2 players, so one a wing vs 2 jsf's is a recipe for losing, now a bel22 vs 2 jsf's is a good dogfight, till a missle comes out
but overall, the advanced x wing is my favorite ship of all time....good handling, 3 guns and 1 missile and 180k mass, whats not to love (besides the huge hitbox)

Haha, you almost got me there. Nice try.
Keep practicing, I've beaten that scenario.
