He honestly thinks that if all the jedi stopped playing SWG, the game would die in mere weeks.

Sadly, there is probably a level of truth to that. Which is why the Jedi situation on the ground is so bad now. The devs can't reign the Jedi in, since they make up such a big percentage of the (very limited) remaining subscriber base. However, the non-Jedi side is traditionally made up of the Star Wars fans who want the Jedi situation to reflect what it should for this timeline, which means Jedi in hiding or Vader is slicing heads off. With the subscriber numbers down already, we can't really afford to please either side of this war since it could very well kill the game.

I had a long post, but screw it.

Manna, get in a ship, get to deep space and fly.

Otherwise, no amount of jedi abilities, besides instant launch death of your opponent, will mean a damn thing.

Have a nice day

Bring back perma death, make sure it applies to deaths in space (both from NPCs and Players), and then you can have your powers.
I believe this would greatly reduce the number of Jedi craving powers in the space game
Why did they remove permadeath? I was on a break from game when that happened.

Known exploit involving /forcewhine3. Unfortunatly CSRs are unable to help you at this time.

Here is an equation:
Jedi are to Star Wars as Pilots are to Top Gun
Sorry, it's science.

Actually its an analogy, equation implies the use of an equal sign (they both have equa- in them for a reason). Which consequently would indicate it's not science especially since equations are more typically associated with math and you didn't provide any proof (as any scientific theory would require).

We got more j3dy3y3z then you can shake a stick at.

I'm glad that Manna came here and took the time away from... erm, AFK grinding I suppose, to come here and troll.

He gave us a big, fat example of how the j3d-3y3 have gone too far already. And has helped establish just how screwed up this game would be if the devs didn't stop licking their feet like that had been for the past year.

Reminds me of Cornelius Vanderbilt's proclamation of "the public be damned!" at the turn of the century. Twits like him don't care about game balance, the shared gaming experience, anything like that. It's ME ME ME ME ME MEEEEEEE!

See here's the real truth.

Your "jedi skills" are just numbers in a computer file, used in a skill vs skill RPG system on the ground.

Your pilot skills are how good you are at observation and reaction.

In case you missed the memo, Space is a twitch game.

SOOO, there is no "observation and reaction" in the ground game?

Your ignorance is deafening.

Fraid not. Still based on numbers and luck. Unless your actually using a joystick to weild that glo bat.

And before you blame "saber envy" look at the sig.

Hi all, I am new to the pilot profession and am wanting to build my skills, but I find it frustrating that I can't use my jedi skills in space. I have come to depend on these skills on the ground and have worked very hard to EARN them, so the likely transition of using those said skills in space seems only fair. Stuff like force heal, AI would be a great advantage and something that would be a well deserved ability for the work I have already put into my skills.

No you shouldnt be allowed to use your jedi skills in space.

Wedge Antilles wasnt a jedi, Tycho Celchu wasnt a jedi, Jek Porkins wasnt a jedi, Wes Janson wasnt a jedi, Hobbie Klivian wasnt a jedi, Lt. Ketch wasnt a jedi (yub yub).

Im a Jedi and i say NO!

However I do thing BHs should be allowed to hunt jedi in space! As either jedi or BH I say "Bring it on!"

HOWEVER, Smugglers should be allowed to slice starship components and Rangers should have an increased loot rate when in space!

Go back to the jedi board and whine there little jebay child!

Wow, the intelligence in the pilot forums resembles a daycare.

Sounds like you think you are all gods, but something that it take a week to obtain isn't Godly...no matter how muchyou force your insecurities on other people.

Now, as a retort I will say that there are ALL kinds of benefits listed in Star Wars cannon for Jedi in space, PERIOD END OF STORY FOR ALL YOUR MYOPIANS OUT THERE.

Someone that is sensitive to the all powerful "Force" would have an advantage in any situation regardless of what you think. SOOO, that would apply in space, in the water on land etc.

Just because my idea makesall you "Master Pilots" obsolete doesn'tmake it wrong.

So I am going to get force skills in real life now....Could come in handy when it comes time to pick lottery numbers....In that case bring it on!!!

How much out of your normal lifes' course has been changed just because of my opinion?

Wow, the power of a forum that has no impact to reality.Im bored as hell right now and think I have the time to spare to answer this one.

How bout this, I will continue to go on with my SWG experience and believe that feelings are feelings, innate powers are powers and they all should be available at anytime if you have them. Maybe females shouldn't be as good of pilots because they lack the brain-size of males right? Scientifically proven fact that females on the average have better hand/eye cooridination which would actually make them better pilots in fact. On top of that another proven fact is that females work better in groups than males. maybe their natural intuition that males don't have should be turned off so that you male pilots can keep your self importance in tact. Ummm hate to say it but that "natural intuition" exists in anyone. The choice to follow that "natural intuition" lies upon the person in question.

I am sure if I have the ability to Root a Krayt then your little girly ship may not be too much to ask. While jedi to possess telekenisis. Im pretty sure your ability to use that skill would be severely limited considering the fact that these ships are moving at a good clip. 18000 miles per hour for the space shuttle (unpowered in orbit) and that is our time. Wonder how fast these suckers would go if they existed?

Hey, but you have a lot invested in "pilot"...lol...Pilot, that is just so funny to me. Then why did you bother to "try" and master this profession. And why in the hell did you bother to waste your time to post on this forum. Refer to opening remarks.

Oh by the way, I will master pilot in about 1 week. I can't wait to feel the rush of self worth that I will feel, the feeling so close to Godliness that Satan will have nightmares of me, Oh, my trembling heart...peace be still, peace be still. Swtich to decaf.....Switch to decaf...
