SOME of you need to grow up.The fact is that there are jedi in space, it's cannon. They use POWERS, like reaction speed,focus, and force sight.

Jedi should be given certain powers in space, let them use their powers, they'll still die.AND, as this is a game, it could add a new dimension and challenge that no otherspace sim has provided, the ability to fight AGAINST jedi in space.

Besides, I think thatgreat Pilot skillsis way harder to perfect than Jedi skills.

That wouldjust be cool. Then we would all see what the master profession is.

So on to me, due to my work schedule I haven't made Master Pilot yet, but that is a no brainer. I work 10-12 hours a day. Whats your excuse?I mean you dont see"Master Pilots" for sale on Ebay because no one would pay more than the cost of the SWG software to play one cause they are so easy to grind compared to Jedi. Everytime you all compare your "pilot" importance to the importance of Jedi in the world of Star Wars you show how truely out of touch you have become. As have you. Before jedi there were 32 other professions that did just fine without force sensitive freaks weilding glowbats.

Here is an equation:

Jedi are to Star Wars as Pilots are to Top Gun

This thread, at this point, is basically to a dead horse what the iron in our blood is to the stars that spawned it, but I think it's worth it to say that, everything else aside, the notion of extending jedi skills to space conflicts on a fundamental level with the very philosophy of JTL. Furthermore, as evidenced here, few if any of the community are interested in any such change, possibly because many of the things that drive so many players to space are directly tied to what's been suggested here.

If the community's opinion were to ever change, however, I would of course represent that view to the devs. Right before I quit.

But for the record.. I don't care what powers you gave jedi in space, I'd still kill them 50:1.

I'm only reading the first page because I am sure the rest will be total bullcrap from the original poster. I have to say the poster is a complete and utter idiot in my opinion. Jedi could use the force to detect things such as a missle or incoming firein space, yes. And as for Luke being able to use his skills in space.....Luke had nothing like force heal or AI, Ben Kenobi told him to use the force to hit his mark on the Death Star. But healing the ship? Avoid incap? Are you sh**ing me? I MAY be able to believe a Jedi using the force to heal their body because of midiclorians and what not within their bloodstream. But I will slap a person in the face for saying they can use the force to repair a ship that just got blown into bits. Sorry. And as for you acting like we are jealous of your Jediness, HAHA...no. I am not jealous but P/O'd that somebody thinks because they are a Jedi they get to go into god mode in space. My JSF which has crappy blasters can rip my friends ship apart with a few hits. So you being able to use AI in space will put you into god mode and will only attract more Jedi which will ruin space PvP and PvE for that matter for everyone else. Thanks but no thanks this idea is unacceptable.
