about 7-8 or so. they always seemed alot easier to kill than smaller craft, and at the same time with one gun mount they arent much of a threat.really id be more afraid of a rhik than a vaksai.

Is this before or after Publish 21?

I love it if for no other reason then it is a freelance only dogfighter. The high mass, 1.0 speed index, and huge amount of slide make this thing a monster in the right hands.

for a cheesey pulse at outset PvPer it's there dream for somone who is trying to win as a pilot it's also very good but not the best heavy fighter imo adv X is soo much better

ROFL true dat... with all that mass you can fit a HUGE capacitor in and a HUGE shield in (if u use epulse3... personally ive never used it in pvp, i dont wanna be caught with no cap energy AND no shield energy lol) for a probable one-hit-kill lol.

Glzmo was a great visionary. Perhaps SOE should have listened to him instead of rebuilding everything all the time.

I don't like the assumption that someone who flies one uses epulse. It's a great PvP ship, period. whether the people you run up against use cheesy tactics or not, that doesn't effect the quality of the ship.

note I gave 2 possible perspectives to using it just personally think the adv X performs better as a heavy fighter but they are different dicipline's so really apples and oranges of a sort

The Imps used one on Starsider tonight for a scout ship. It was a very good choice for that purpose.

Just for fun, I sometimes loadup my Vaksai with 32k dmg spacebombs for PvP. They never see that coming.

Is this on your moved character? Are you sure they copied all the quest flags?

Pfft.

The only point of fighting PvP is to win. Use all you have and win or lose, but have fun.

Reliance on any one tactic is a sure way to get yer butt handed to you consistently.

As for using all the cap and shield energy in one shot. I have two lvl 7 armor plates with 1400+ hp that both come in under 6k mass so I have a lil protection when I choose to use epulse.

Freelance notoriouslyhave bigger hit boxes than both main factions, but that just makes neutralpilots learn to hit first in any encounter or die.

The Vaksai is built on that principle. Great mass for a great loadout to enable the pilot to hit hard and fast. It's the pilots true skill that gives him the win or loss.

Joust, dogfight, another type, whatever. It is still skill, knowledge, instinctive ability and utilizing your equipment that shows the real winner in any contest.

Anyone pointing out one particular thing to gripe about is just making excuses.

The Vaksai has more speed than I know what to do with. I hit 2045 under boost and I was only running EO3. My brain doesn't work that fast, so I think I'll do most of my flying in my brick. Rihxyrk. (I don't PvP anyway.)
