er wait... 2045?!? no frickin way... by 'under boost' do you mean with booster on?! because um... well my krayt runs 1520 or so w/o boost, and thats using EO4... and thers only a .08 difference in top speed (vak is 1.0 and krayt is .92) so i dont see doin much over 1700 w/o boost (2k+ after boost)...
basically my whole post is a big long question: does "under boost" mean with booster on or off?

I personally hit 2180 with my vaksai, but there is someone that posted a screenie and hit 2222 (jealous here)
In my krayt, I hit 1600 without even trying using a RE'd lvl 8 and mark 1 booster.

Under boost = booster on. Sorry for the confusion.
I have a 119.4 speed Mark V engine and a 49.4 speed Mark V booster. When the ships is in fighting trim I leave the big booster at home so I have room for a big gun. (crafted Mark V blaster with a .250 refire)

I've only ever gone up against ONE, ever. So i really dont have much of an idea. Trading a spare RGI for this ship and gonna go RSF soon, so im kinda curious.
Been up against a few. What I've noticed is that they're more or less X-wing sized but with A-wing [better I heard 
] handling. I've never been shot down by one..well I never even got hit by one, but I think they could be good. Probably in the hands of someone like you Duc. I think I'd fly one if I were Freelance because a.I'm never going to touch a JSF or Belb for longer than a day b.Freelancer ships on the whole don't seem to be very manouverable..so c.Vaksai looks kind of cool and seems like the best choice. With 150k mass, what in a lvl 10 engine, a lvl 10 gun, lvl 8 shield and you're laughing.
It shocked the heck out of the oppressor pilot so that he kinda flew straight for a second and a half.
