to be honest if they knocked off 30k of the RotW ships or lowered hem to 65k id rather use a TIE advanced...but they are good for grinding purposes (this is my first time with pilot) and when i do hit deep space...sure i used the bellbulab and ill prolly get my arse whooped but hey...experience is a teacher...tho once i hit master belbullab is gettin deeded...
That's good, you should WANT to use a TIE advanced. Think about it, a 20 year old ship like a JSF or a brand new prototype for an advanced fighter (TIE advanced x1).

I like the Belb-22. I understand how some people feel they are unbalanced and I agree... They are for a true pilot vet... However, I dont have access to these UbEr low mass part with high stats some of you guys seem to have!
I search the bazzar daily (vendor galaxy search) and the BEST of what I can find is only moderate compared to what some of yall stick in your smaller fighters... The Belb-22 lets me have a ship equal in power to what those who have their smaller ships stacked with the best of the best have. Some may say that is unfair and maybe it is... But money isnt the object with me!!! It is finding a damn shipwright who will sell me some of these UbEr parts!!!!
I aint picking up shipwright as I'm done with crafting for now... Crafted for the first year of the game... So that leaves me at the mercy of the bazzar which on Bloodfin, ATM, sucks. I also refuse to use up all my lots for ship part storage! After dropping crafting I finally can have just **one** account and have enough space to have a nicely decorated house with some lots left over for the future!
Anyhow, that is my take on it ![]()
In practical terms and in my opinion
1. The Heavy X is the best PVE ship in the game. I would say it is overpowered as a PVE ship, but I refrain from it, I really enjoy flying it for PVE.
2. The JSF has a clear and significant advantage over any other ships in PVP, but only a slight advantage of a smaller combat box over the B 22. They have the best of the best of all aspects of PVP, except they dont have 3 ordnance slots. Their mass is more than enough to fit everything necessary and a little extra.
In terms of balance I would not nerf the new/old ships but would update the old ships so they get competitive, especially former agile fighters like the A wing and the T/A. Bombers could have a slight upgrade, but they are not rendered obsolete by the new ships.

Well, the Vaksai sucksai's. 1 weapon and 1 ordinance. It's a POS.
I would beg to differ.
I can quite comfortably fit 3.5-4k front/back of shields and armor in mine, my nym's engine, and a cert10 REd gun. And countermeasures. And torps. If I wanted to be more evil. I'd fit a bigger cap, and more armor, and use it as a flying bomb
As I mentioned a while ago, being able to take out a player ship (the lighter ones, anyhow) in the first shot is *very* satifsying, especially when they can't do the same.
Moral of the story - just because you don't know how to utilise it, doesn't mean something sucks.
