Thread: Whats YOUR standing on the Bebullab, JSF & Heavy Varients

Used the Hvy Scyk for parts of the last three t-4 boxes. My favorite ship was by FAR the Rhyxzrk with two crafted adv blasters with .25 refire, 1 tri-blaster, and a crafted engine with a top speed of 102

Heavy Variants, if they had certed these somewhere higher in the skill tree than the originals, I wouldn't say so much, but I think of these too, as crutches for people lacking in skill.
Balancing mass/performance was supposedly one of the most challenging aspects of setting up a new ship. Now with the heavy variants and the ROTW ultralights, the distinction that exists in the JTL ships is eradicated in favor of an "all in one" package.
When they first came out I thought they were cool ships, but I've quickly gotten bored of them.
- I Keep My JSF in my datapad, think its parked in Bestine or someplace.
- I have a second JSF which i got with my Alt (Jedi account) I use that deed for decoration
- I've looted More BB-22 ships than I care to count trying to get myself a Banes Heart. They all went on my vendor to be sold for 100k a pop.
- bought Myself a Heavy syck but never used it.
- I cant get a Vaksai cos the kash space station is bugged for me.
Now I use My KSE, cool ships ![]()
1. They are too responsive, have too much mass, and generally do not fit in the JTL ship balance scheme.
2. They eliminate the need/use of many other ships because they are so good. Too good.
3. They spoil newer pilots with there uber design. Consequently their perception of the game is altered for the worst, and they do not learn as much about mass management and ship parts.
4. They should not exist in their current form.

I use the JSF every once in a while for pve purposes just for a changeof pace. I really don't see the logic in how they implemented the rotw and heavy variant ships. More mass and more agile? They really make some of the classic ships obsolete which is a shame.
It doesn't seem all that complicated to balance the agility and speed caps according to mass and ship size but who knows when they will get around to it. All in all as a dedicated Imperial pilot I just feel dirty flying anything other than a TIE of some sort. I usually don't use the heavy variant that much because the single chin mount gun kinda sucks.
That's what I use my Bel for. My JSF I use for PVE, with tiny shields (REd cert4 reward...) to see how well I cope.
My ARC was flown once, it's not so good without teamspeak...
My Vaksai is lovely, I take it on trips to DS most mornings, and get blown up most mornings, too.
2 of my 3 kills in DS were with my krayt.
NIce ships to fly the Bell-22, Heavy Startersand JSF but really shouldn't be in the game or reduced to about 50k Mass.
The only ships I see in DS are JSF and Bell-22 these days and it seems a bit silly to have these relics ruling the roost in the PVP zone.
Did starship design take a flop when the empire took over.
Sony have taken a rather inept marketing attempt to milk the last movie by including as much dross they could get from it.
