I believe That If you put your name on the helpers list, at least you should be able to help. But it is unresonable that if your doing something and ppl just want you to drop what your doing in order to help them, now thats just wrong, I do have all 3 of my pilots on the helpers list, and I have helped countless of pilots ACE, And I love to fly, but when im trying to unlock, im sorry but that take priority.
To bad your on another server diffent from mine , I would be moe than happy to help you.

Play or quit..... there is no whine.

Jisrael= Rebel Masterpilot, Elder Jedi,BH,Commando,TK (list just goes on)

Thank you very much for going out of your way to be kind. My time on these forums has shown me that there are not very many people like you, thanks. People love to bicker and belittle people. lol. I find it kind of funny.

I understand that everyones game time is precious, what with all the BS we have to put up with in RL.If you cant help because youhaveother things you would like to do with your time, I completely understand, butI really appreciate people who go out of thier way to help someone. For example, I am new to JTL. After an 6 month break from the game I came back and had no idea how to even get a ship. I found the first guy with a master SW tag up and sent him a tell. He invited me back to his shop and got me a ship together andexplained alot of the game to me.When I was able to get my second ship, he made me one and made me some good components too! Being that I just came back to the game after such a long break, I had no credits to pay him with.Being that I didnt want to be a freeloader, I offered to go spam his shop In theed. I made a nice little macro , now you may see me out there on ahazi spamming his shop.. Its nice people like that who make this game enjoyable.

I swear I must have sent a tell to every person approaching the starship terminal in theedon saturday and sunday, kindly asking if they could help. not one person could help.Out if desparation, I even started offering 100k perfor someone to help. still no luck I just know that if I ever get ACE, I will remember how it was comming up and I will gladly lend a hand. None of my SWG friends play JTL, so I am left at the mercy of strangers. My longtime buddie joined a new guild recently and wants me to join. I just may, I can use the help

I made this thread in anger and it sounds alot more whiney that I intened. anyways, have a nice night and may the force be with you.

You still haven't told us anything that we would need to actually help you. For instance...

What server you play on... The best we have is that someone who lists Ahazi responded saying you were refering to that person with one of your comments.

What faction, squad of the faction, tier, and mission you are having a problem with.

What part(s) of the mission is giving you so the trouble.

What you are flying, as in ship and basic equipment. I might not care the Min/Max of your ordnance but knowing that you have an Engine above 45 Top Speed wouldn't be bad.

You have an odd expection of the forums, I think. You've already shown your impatience when you didn't receive a response within 30 minutes or so. Most people read forum threads when they are not in the game, so expecting immediate in-game results is a bit much. You have done little but complain about the lack of help offered, but have yet to politely ask for help giving information useful to those of us that might be willing.

While I would be unable to assist on Ahazi, I have flown a bit and might be able to give you some tips. Unfortunately, you seem unwilling to provide any information about your plight other than 'I keep getting killed' so there's nothing I CAN do for you.

Read psikobunny's post and give a proper, polite response to it and then maybe you'll see people respond. It has been my experience that people on forums LOVE to give advice, and can often be found in-game easier when they know you have been reading their forum posts in an attempt to get better.

before others list this, the thread initially had a different title, I almost responded the same way here, check out the 'subject' line for each and every post to see the original title

Though, I agree with the rest of your post, more info is always welcome.

Well I am not seeking help here on this forum anymore. BUt since you asked. I on doing the imperial inquisition missions. I am 2/3/2/2. I am stuck on the mission where you have to disable dr shinnes lambda shuttle, dock with it, then go to a satelite and transmit data then go to another rendevouz point and dock with some other ship and then go to yet another rendevouz point, now beyond that, I do not know. I have not made it that far. I am in a TIE/int and have a pretty good engine think its like 59-61-61 and top speed like 60, but not 100 sure as im not in game atm. guns dmg is like 1200 to 1650. Im on Ahazi

Problem is this, I get swarmed by wave after wave of enemy ships. I just cant take em all. I have tried just disabling them but more seem to spawn even if those I disabled are still floating nearby. I have tried this mission atleast 20 times. There is absolutely no way I will solo this.

Its too bad more people in game arent into Flying in space. anyways, anyone have any secret pointers for this mission? Im positive I could complete it with two other pilots. I dont think just one more will be enough.

First off let me state that I have only made it to 3332 inquisitor. There are others here with way more knowledge. But, here goes.

There are several inquistitor missions that you have to ignore the incoming waves, and do your job. For instance, if you have to dock with a shuttle, dock with it, reguardless if there are waves of fighters or not, you cannot complete the mission by killing things before you dock. I'm not really sure which part of that mission you are on, and it is quite long (I just completed it myself). It is quite soloable, I solo'd it, and I don't consider myself to be a great pilot (I have no master pilots). My advice to your job at all cost. There are a few of those were you will have 8 fighters on you at one time, as soon as you complete, JUMP to safety, either in system or out, depending on where you need to go next. Don't be a hero, just do your job.

Other advice, you are in an imperial craft, your damage output is not that high, and you are in a fragile craft (I do love them though, please don't flame me). You must get droid overcharge programs running in order to be sucsessful. The ones I recommend are weapon over charge 2, engine overcharge 2 (both of those are imperial), and capacitor overcharge 2 and cap to shields 2 (those you will have to buy, use the new bazaar features to find them, they are under misc, droid programs). These will drasticly improve your chances.

And lastly, I hate to tell you this, but the last mission in Tier3 is VERY hard (for those of us who are not uber), you really need to make some imperial buddies, or like I said earlier, get into a guild that likes to fly. Because I doubt you will be able to solo the last Tier 3 mission.

oh another option to this. The Summglers alliance has somthing similar to this mission. It was hard but pull a summglers trick. when the waves start. hyper to another point in the same system. when they come at ya again hyper to another spot in the same system. I did this 3 times. on the 3rd or 4th time around they stop coming and you can just cruise to each docking protion. then start the process over again. if need be for the other 2 dockings. I had to do this for 3 missions the summgler alliance have.

I am attempting it now. but there is one possible point in your theory that will not work in this particulat mission. The second WP is where you need to transmit via the satelite and it takes a good 5 minutes or more for the data to transmit. SO while it is transmitting, you need to stay within close proximity to the satelite. During that time period the rebs are throwing wave after wave of multiple fighters at you. I have pasted this section before, alone. But it is difficult. Id say I pass is 1 out of 5 tries. I think if I can get pasted this one section, the rest of your modus operandi may just work.

Maybe I am doing somethig wrong, but when I warp out it says something like,"you have abandoned the mission" or something. If you are in, for example, smugglers run and then you hyper to another point in such as crimsons flare, both are near yavin, arent you going out of the system? Is there a way to hyper from one point in crimsons flare to another point in crimsons flare?

I've never tried it this way (hyperspace to another point in same system) personally, have you tried just boosting past all the enemy spawns when you're on your way? It's all I've ever done and it works. When you get to the transport/shuttle you have to dock with, just keep cap to shield shunt handy for when they're attacking you. As a reb, you can use /eshields here.

Hrm. Your engine is kinda slow (for top speed) and the PYR values aren't all that great. Since you're in a TIE/int it's not that bad for turning, but I suggest a lvl7 crafted for now (until you can loot a better one) if you can fit it (I get mine up to about 89spd) - otherwise a fast lvl5 crafted should hit 77ish if I recall correctly. Use Engive Overload 3 (get a programmed chip as I think you don't have that program yet) and you should be able to cruise on by with a quick boost. They shouldn't be able to catch you (especially if using the lvl7 engine).

Also, your weapon, check it against crafted lvl7 and crafted lvl5 weapons -- they're not always the best, but if you don't have a nice RE'd weapon, in most cases I find crafted to far outperform any looted. I suggest a weapon crafted with a Quick Shot sub-component (speed on the weapons should be under .28 for lvl5, under .27 for lvl7) -- *much* faster than looted. You probably don't want an Ion or Disruptor, as you can only have one weapon.

For mass concerns on the above, drop your armor, add it in last. Lower your reactor to a lvl1 and use the program Reactor Overload 2 (2 should be high enough, your flight computer's not all that big yet, so save some room for Weapon Overload 3 and the highest Cap Overcharge and Cap to Shield Shunt you can get).

Personally, this is how I'd set it up, if I can remember the masses correctly:

reactor: lvl1 ~1.2k mass (12k gen?)
engine : lvl5 ~8k mass (about 77ish sped, 55 pitch/yaw ? guessing here)
weapon : lvl7 ~15k mass (speed version, prolly 1500-2500 damage, .27ish refire, 0.48vs Shields/Armor)
shield : lvl5 ~8k mass (should be about 1.3k f/b hitpoints)
DI : lvl1 ~1k mass lightest you can find, hopefully 'pre-nerf'
booster: lvl2 ~2k mass looted, low mass with decent enough speeds and good burntime
cap : lvl2 ~3k mass (RE'd, any over 800 with decent recharge should do)
--------------------------
total : ~39k mass?

flight computer: weapon overload 3, engine overload 3, cap to shield shunt 2, cap overcharge 2, and reactor overload 1 if you need it - I think all this will fit in a lvl3 flight computer.

hope I'm not all too far off on this here, hope it helps. if anyone notices a glaring error, let me know (and correct me gently )

There are a few types of mission 'components' where you will have to deal with waves of incoming fighters.

* Stay near a specified point in order to 'intercept a transmission, 'send a transmission,' 'block a transmission,' etc. These require you to stay near the waypoint, so an in-system jump will probably fail the mission. I have not tried it personally, but one tacticI've seeen is, when the first wave comes in pick one out and 'wound' that ship's engine without disabling or destroying it - target the Engine with [ and ] and take it down to 10-30% or so. It will still count as a ship of that wave (which might slow or prevent more waves) while not being able to ever catch up to you to shoot you. I've heard that you would need to do this with one enemy ship from each of the first two waves to prevent any more but again, I have not tried it myself.

* Get to a waypoint (often to get to a waiting 'dock' mission component or such). If the object is to just get to that shining green waypoint several klicks out, then you are not obligated to attack anything that comes at you in the mean time. This the the type where an in-system jump can be useful, because you should not have technically left the system, so you are still considered 'in transit.' This is also where the tactic of multiple in-system jumps (mentioned by someone earlier) is used to leave the waves scattered around the system instead of centered on your location. Also as mentioned before - just do your job.

* Get ambushed or Assault the enemy. These are similar to the 'transmission intercepts' but the waves will spawn near you, not necessarily near a waypoint. I don't know, but I get the feeling the in-system jump would be a bad idea here and might cause a fail. It is possible, though, that the 'wounding' tactic would work here as it should in the 'transmission intercept' mission component.

Besides mission tactics, I also recommend you browse SW components. Finding a high quality SW's shop and taking a look might be faster in the end than using the global vendor searc, but if you try the bazaar then sort by name and look for the 'Mark XX .....' items as that's the default naming convention of crafted goods.

Droids programs are absolute life-savers. I can not remember exactly the storage capacity of a level 3 FC, but I believe it is around.... 70? If that's close, then you should have no problem loading the WO2 and EO2 programs you know plus a couple Freelance programs you may have to buy if you can't get from a friend. Until Programs are re-balanced, the level 3's are by far the best way to go when it comes to Overloads (just remember to repair every time you land. If you know higher level Imperials and a decent Freelancer, you might be able to get a set of something like EO 3, WO 3, CapO 3, and CtSS 3 and those alone would make an amazing difference on the combat-worthiness of your ship.
