The mission were you have to wait while the waves roll in, yeah, you cannot hyper out while that is happening. The only time I recommend to hyper is after "mission complete". The only way to deal with the waves at the satalite is to overcharge your fighter, and get some good lvl 7 guns. Other than that, there is no real strategy there, oh, and stay close to the satalite. There are other parts of that mission where you have to dock, and ignore fighters, thats what I was refering to. The last part of that mission sets you against tier 3 and 4 X-wings, once again, overcharge with good equipement is the answer, and you should not have that much problem with them either.

For me, I was a rebel pilot, and I can see how under powered the imperial craft are, overcharges really make things soloable that i used to not be able tosolo. You really should spend the time to get all those to work, you will see a drastic difference.

Finding a high quality SW's shop and taking a look might be faster in the end than using the global vendor searc, but if you try the bazaar then sort by name and look for the 'Mark XX .....' items as that's the default naming convention of crafted goods.

Droids programs are absolute life-savers. I can not remember exactly the storage capacity of a level 3 FC, but I believe it is around.... 70? If that's close, then you should have no problem loading the WO2 and EO2 programs you know plus a couple Freelance programs you may have to buy if you can't get from a friend. Until Programs are re-balanced, the level 3's are by far the best way to go when it comes to Overloads (just remember to repair every time you land. If you know higher level Imperials and a decent Freelancer, you might be able to get a set of something like EO 3, WO 3, CapO 3, and CtSS 3 and those alone would make an amazing difference on the combat-worthiness of your ship.

I know a lvl4 astromech/flight computer can hold 5 lvl3 droid programs, as I used to have that on mine, so a lvl3 should be able to hold a couple lvl3 and some lvl2's. I agree with the rest of the post, and definitely agree that droid programs are life savers!

Also, sorting by Mark XX.... on global vendor search might not alwyas get what you want for crafted, as I know I rename each and every part I make (along the lines of '{OK} - lvl# #type# - #damage# - #mass# - #drain' etc, etc. So you want to keep an eye out for parts that way too, but it should be pretty obvious B

oh another option to this. The Summglers alliance has somthing similar to this mission. It was hard but pull a summglers trick. when the waves start. hyper to another point in the same system. when they come at ya again hyper to another spot in the same system. I did this 3 times. on the 3rd or 4th time around they stop coming and you can just cruise to each docking protion. then start the process over again. if need be for the other 2 dockings. I had to do this for 3 missions the summgler alliance have.

Maybe I am doing somethig wrong, but when I warp out it says something like,"you have abandoned the mission" or something. If you are in, for example, smugglers run and then you hyper to another point in such as crimsons flare, both are near yavin, arent you going out of the system? Is there a way to hyper from one point in crimsons flare to another point in crimsons flare?

as long as you hyper in the same system. which means yes if your in yavin space and you just from sumgglers run to crismson flare your fine. but if your in yavin space at summglers run and you jump to empire justice in endor you will fail. anything in the same system is fine.

edit: i am on right now My toons name is ithon and i with this mission i will keep ya alive the best i can. can not promise anything
