Wow, the power of a forum that has no impact to reality.
How bout this, I will continue to go on with my SWG experience and believe that feelings are feelings, innate powers are powers and they all should be available at anytime if you have them. Maybe females shouldn't be as good of pilots because they lack the brain-size of males right? Or maybe their natural intuition that males don't have should be turned off so that you male pilots can keep your self importance in tact.
I am sure if I have the ability to Root a Krayt then your little girly ship may not be too much to ask.
Hey, but you have a lot invested in "pilot"...lol...Pilot, that is just so funny to me.
Oh by the way, I will master pilot in about 1 week. I can't wait to feel the rush of self worth that I will feel, the feeling so close to Godliness that Satan will have nightmares of me, Oh, my trembling heart...peace be still, peace be still.
I already agreed that if you absolutely are that lame at flying that you should be able to use the Force powers already given to you.I also pointed out how useless they would be. There is no mechanic available to simulate the 'small extra edge' that a Force user would get.
OH NO YOU DIDN'T! Actually females make BETTER pilots than males, ask the Israeli Air Force. They are smaller, have better eye hand coordination, more body fat to absorb higher G-forces...
Hmm... I am sure there is more than just me saying "NO" so your theory that male pilots are the only ones arguing here is invalid.
But you'll still be a bad pilot... and with your attitude, how many people are going tohelp you take on the Vette?
Oh, to be on Ahazi to watch the whooping Manna is going to get if he ever dares venture into DS...

I dont get it.. the OP must be dense or something.
First off i would bet that i fly longer, like most of the Pilots, as he is a Jedi.. many of us, including me,needed month to tune our skills, the equipment and such for the best performance. And with out bragging or patting my self on the back i know that i m a good Pilot. But i also know that there peoples out there that are better then me.
Secondly, i m a Smuggler on Ground. f you get your Force Skills, i want Concussion Shot, Feign Death and Last Ditch ![]()

Hi all, I am new to the pilot profession and am wanting to build my skills, but I find it frustrating that I can't use my jedi skills in space. I have come to depend on these skills on the ground and have worked very hard to EARN them, so the likely transition of using those said skills in space seems only fair. Stuff like force heal, AI would be a great advantage and something that would be a well deserved ability for the work I have already put into my skills.
I feel as sorry for you for this naive post as I disagree with you.
No. Jedi powers in space would unbalancespace even more and create much hassle.

Could epulse3 be thought of as Last Ditch?

Jedi skills could easily work in space:
Saber Throw: You use the force to hurl your lightsaber through the front end of your ship to an enemy ship, annihilating the chassis and killing the user instantly
Force Lightning: An electrical surge devastates all of the components on the caster's ship, disabling it completely.
Force Run: You use the force to increase your movement speed, allowing the user to run around POB ships faster than normal players.
Channel Force: You stop your ship completely and start to channel the force, increasing force regeneration. Shields are disabled so the force can.. you know... reach you.
Force Cloak: Causes enemy ships to be unable to see the pilot of the user's ship. There is currently a bug which resets the user's paint scheme to bright orange and red, as well as destroying the ship completely. And killing the user. A lot.
Force Healing: heals the user. the USER.
Avoid Incap: Not gonna help you when your ship is destroyed.
Now, Y'see? You guys were being unreasonable.

Mhm.. thought bout that.. but No.. we have to do it the Jedi way i guess, everything else would be unfair,.. since epulse is something that every freelance pilot can use when they reach a certain level, epulse cant be used as Last Ditch..
So, lets say when your chassis drops under 10% you can Last Ditch and blow everyone within 20km into oblivion or so... might be a bit hard to time out the attack.. but hey.. no risk no fun
"Oh by the way, I will master pilot in about 1 week."
Let me know how that works out for you, I hear storm squadron is quite easy, you should be able to do the whole thing solo using only the free starter tie and the free components.
By the way, sitting in a guildmembers passenger seat to grind for free or paying a fellow pilot 1 million credits to take out the vette for you is not solo-ing.
been watching the post from beginning to end and well its been a laugh ![]()
i do think the original poster has a point tho, in EP3 when obi wan had buzz droids on his ship he used force push to push them off didn't he..... or was it anakin ramming them off with his ship i keep forgetting. Oh and that jedi in the jsfthat getsshot atwhen order 66 goes out he managed to see the lasers just intime and flew away to live happily ever after... or did he getblown up![]()
oh btw i love the ideas posted earlier.
channel force disabling shields so force can... well you know reach them, classic ![]()
