Theres really no point in explainng why force powers are not, and should never be included in space to him. My assesment is that his mind, is a closed book based on his personal perception. Nothing you can say or do will ever change his opinion. Especially anything that does not coincide with how he percieves things.
You'd have better results yellling at door knob at the top of your lungs. Suffice to say the cranial matter betwixed his ear lobes has the density and hardness of reinforeced concrete first poured in the 1920's. (As you may or may not know, the older concrete is, the harder it becomes as it continually cures throughout time). Hence, theres a high probability that one may abandon all reason and logic with the troglodyte at this time, and further enjoy the fun he has presented.
wow, who are you and what did you do with Ducimus? or did you just run spellcheck for a change?![]()
I had a rare moment when i wasnt in a rush typing. Im acutally a good writer, just a poor speller most of the time because my fingers are flying over the keyboard so damn fast.

only thing I wanna know...what are you gonna do w/ force heal in space? It's not like you personally get healed and in all the books i cna only think of ONE person who could really do anything like modifying or fixing w/ electronic/mechanical stuff using the force.
See? That's all the justification that one would need to petition for it. Remember--a person could go his entire life on coruscant, pre clone wars, and never see a Jedi in person.
Jedi and Jedi powers were fairly unique and limited to a few during the era in which this game is set.
Since the game is implemented to proliferate the uniqueness of Jedi so that any Joe with four months of waiting and a couple weeks of slashing wookiees can attain Knight status, it is reasonable to the Jedi mind to allow any power, no matter how obscure or unique, to be within their purview.
It doesn't matter to a person with this viewpoint that neither Anakin nor Luke Skywalker were great pilots before they were Jedi.
It doesn't matter to a person with this viewpoint that many feats beyond the skill of a normal human were possible by a wide range of alien races, including the ones presently played.

Godwin's Law has been invoked, by the original poster. This thread should now die. It should have died immediately after this post, but for some reason it didn't...
Let this thread die in piece and simply be prepared for the next time a thread such as this is created.

I witness and verify citation of Godwin's Law
As aMaster Fencer I feel that I should be able to use my Fencer specials in space, After all I did WORK for them and EARN them.
I think things likeBody Hitand Bleed attack would come in very helpful in space, and again after all I did EARN them. It's also a huge part of SW cannon, fencers in space. In Ep3 General Grevious uses a stun baton to break a starship windshield causing decompresion, I am certed for a Stun baton so I should be able to shoot it out of my missile launcher and a windshield.

Uhm... you can use Force powers in space:
- you can heal yourself if you get hit by a plasma fire
- you can put on AI to avoid getting killed by said fire
- you can cloak to... I dunno, run around in your ship unseen? (what's the point?)
Now, if you're asking to be able to use these abilities on your ship, then I'm sorry, but you're nuts. Seriously.
""Flying against Tycho was probably the most difficult thing I'd ever done, and I had an edge in the Force. What he did, what Wedge did, without being able to use the Force made them far more special than any Jedi. They flew with their heart and brains and their entire being."

Well said, Cooky.
