looks like butterflys will be the only thing we will be able to solo , tell them not to nerf warcry PLZ we all beg you

I was under the impression that they wanted melee masters to be the best tanks in this game, but if we cant warcry, and we cant intimidate, we're going to get destroyed.
Please press for the AoE effect on Warcry, I think its a fair compromise for losing the primary-target-delay.
As for Intimidate, I think that absolutely needs to stay as is. If its a PVP issue, give players more resistance to it, but a master brawler, WITH Bio clothing, should be able ot keep a mob intimidated, pretty easily.
They are pushing us back towards using Creatures as tanks and nobody wants this to be Poke-Wars

Warcry is not nearly as good now, as we assumed it would be. It's fairly hard to use against multiple targets, which is really its only use now. I will be asking if it can be made AE instead of cone effect as this would be much more reasonable for use in group crowd control. Also it has a higher resist rate. Mobs seem to be able to resist it more directly and against higher level mobs it is very hard or impossible to land.

Ugh, intimidate is nerfed too. Resist rates on it have sky-rocketed (as with Warcry). On both now I am seeing mssages to the affect of, "The effect fails to hold." I spammed about 50 intimidates at a Peko Peko Albatross the other day and not a single one landed (I had +22 warcry mods and master brawler). This coupled with warcry changes really hurts. I'm going to be asking about this as I think that it's particularly harsh that two big brawler abilities that allowed us to tank higher-end stuff are now nerfed as to be unusable in that arena.
Is this really intended or is this a bug?
Warcry and intimidate are novice brawler skills...with HUGE ham cost. If a novice lose 200 HAM for no effect most of time on dwarf nuna...they'd better remove thoses skills.
A buffed character can use them, but if you need to use it 50 times on high end mobs to stick it (if it's ever stick), you only do that while in combat...one full master elite brawler not for damages, not tanking...just for trying to stick a state effect....EQ in space here we come!
BTW, swordmen don't have stun, another tanking state...what are we suppose to do? As melee character we heavily rely on armors (lots of wounds, lots of money, high buffs to compensate armor..rince and repeat).
A long time ago when teh game was in concept and later on in the beta, brawlers were mean to be toast if they couldn't cut the range with their opponents...but win without breaking a sweat if they manage to be at melee range.
CoB is teh only one ability we have to help us against range or to help us tanking melee? Is it a joke?
How do I feel about all this?...very disapointed. I guess it's part of teh combat balance, but balance means lower and higher the too good and the too bad things...why do we have only the bad...when does come the good part?

No matter how much we whine about it on here, the devs will never do anything... they incorporated bleeds without any prior knowledge to the community, this time they have given the TC a chance to test what it's like, maybe this time they can realise that they have made a mistake and alter it a little( I really mean a lot
). Although I doubt anything will be changed.
They obviously don't want us soloing higher level content with ease, the combination of warcry2 + intimidate2 is deadly against most higher level mobs, and we can solo the things which would normally take 10elite marksmento do. But before they do anything like that they should increase the chance of a good loot, so killing an elder gives more than rebel transmission + 4000 credits.
This will make PvP more difficult for the brawler class ( a lot harder )anyone who uses brawler for PvP will know that warcry2 + intimidate2 are their best friend, especially against ranged attackers.
I wonder how long it will take for them to take out the lunge2 attacks ![]()
I just hope they'll listen to the players, the people who are affected the most by their decisions.
well the sad thing about all this constant nerfing and hack and slash on brawler is it all relates back to jedi.
you have to step back a few questions to find out whats going on and whats really to blame.
why are people picking up swords to solo krayts?
why are people mixing brawlers and ranged for amazing counterattacks/dodges/blocks to solo krayts/Ns's ect?
JEDI. Plain and simple.
basically the fiasco that IS and WAS the jedi system is like a mushroom cloud expanding out to all profession.
lots of people braved the path to jedi......and when they go there they were angry at what they found.
people are trying to find a way to get pearls, to make sabers, to level jedi.
plain and simple.
the devs screwed us all with the jedi system by pulling up our economy, making people play profession they didn't want - and forcing people to make extreme combat templates to solo high end content.
i see this combat revamp as a witch hunt to keep the jedi population in check.
devs: "hey don't look over here cuz we are revamping combat to make it ........um better, yah!"
jedi players: "ok.....we are slowly losing our ability to kill krayts"
players who have stuck with one or two profession consistantly "what are you doing to all of our skills?"
it reminds me of a lot of political situations where governments create situations and then have to use force to fix them.
