So you have a problem with high end dots because you don't have any yourself or you cannot beat them? You talk about people using dots but yet you use one yourself and use the excuse that "oh mines only 112str". You complain that Pikeman uses dots against you, but you have no problem when a Combat Medic uses them because you can take them down so easily. If dots bother you... then pick up doctor. Don't whine about every little issue because you cannot beat xxxx. Every profession has it's weakness... and in this case, pikeman dots are yours.

Dots are part of the game... and if you get beat by a pikeman stacking 6 dots on you... then either you can A.) whine about it B.) Do something about it C.) quit the game.

It gets old when people whine when they lose to something. I always lost to dots in my previous template... so what did I do? I picked up doctor. Now dots hardly effect me unless it's a master CM stacking tons of poisons to the point where I can't keep up. Big deal though... run with some docs to babysit you. If you can't handle the pressure of dots and refuse to do a damn thing about it rather than whine... then quit.

dont need dots when you have a 1200 max dmg LVA, only use dots for crowd control

What's not to agree with there? Really, who isn't sick of those people? While using DoTs doesn't make you a lesser pikeman, nor does it require the least bit of skill to do. There are people who buy their way to victory and have absolutely no skill outside their bank account.

You don't have to die to a dotmonkey to know that DoT weapons are one of the worst things to ever happen to this game.

A CM would be stacking multiple poisons while you're switching weapons...

exactly.. a good cm can stack 2500+ mind poison/disease in a matter of seconds if they have to..

If you've read this forum for any length of time, you've probably seen me rant and rave about DOTs and the damage they have done to this profession.

boo, hoo. pikeman are pikeman and there are many ways you can be one, accept it and stop crying. I would also like to add, if anybody was bored enough and looked at his profile. he was on the trade forum trying to buy a lance with health fire DoT...you my friend, are an idiot.

Find a way to beat time using your own 250 skill points

Pikeman DoTs aren't craftable like CM DoTs are so you'll have to either buy them or loot them

If you won't invest the time or money then don't complain....you could always go swordsman/pikeman for a while and loot your own lances.

If you like PvP then go fencer/doc or something.... You can cure most DoTs without mastering doc

Most important, learn how to play your profession, whatever you choose

think of a way to out damage or out last your opponent

Fighting has been this way since the stone age, not just SWG PvP

there are DoT gaffi, pistols, carbine, rifles, Vk's, PH's , even grenades. DoTs are part of everyones game not just pikeman and CM

The real pikeman are the ones who use their skill points on the profession, DoT whore or not
