pikeman for a year and a half and proud to be 1 owner of a 1962 dmg w/pu to bad it got speed sliced and yes it has an adk

ebum..if a person has no stun resis armor..yeah fencers will outdamage pike in a hurry with no dots. why? cus armor (most of the time) have 80% ti knetic and do crapy damage. i have seen a fencer take down a player much much faster then a pikemen can.
u may be comeing from a longtime running fencer with a hella nice stun but u cant stand there being from that and tell me u cant kill a playin faster then alot of people. but if the player does has stun armor then yeah u may not do as much damage.
i really dont know what ur talkin about. my bud is a fencer and outdamages me (tka) and we dueld the same guy. same tactics and everything.

sure, I kill nubs faster than anyone. I'm talking endgame fully decked out pvpers, stun damage is a joke to anyone with stun armor and a few psgs, add adk and its a nonfactor.

and u say u got a spd slice id like to see a screenie of this wep pls but imagine it with a 30% dmg slice mmmmmmmmmm it would own all thats the highest dmg ive seen

Pikeman is the first and only combat profession I've mastered. I love being a pure pikeman. I added master medic and have 2440 in doctor for defensive heals instead of another melee profession. Currently working on a few FS trees to bolster defense, speed, and accuracy as well as getting the unarmed tree in anticipation of the CU. I wouldn't trade pikeman for the world. I love the beauty and grace of our attacks and the ability to man-handle (more like Rodian-handle, lol) mobs. I have yet to get an insane damage LVA or VL and the NSEL, although my guildees are looking to get the NSEL parts and schem for me. I have a few DOT NS lances thatI use in certain situations (like fighting NS, krayts, GDKs, and other high end mobs), and only used one once in a duel.
Pikeman rocks, plain and simple.
Edit: Come to think of it, I may be the only Rodian pikeman on Radiant. I haven't seen any other Rodians as pikemen, or very many other Rodians on Radiantnow thatI think of it.

I consider myself a real pikeman! was the 2nd melee profession i ever mastered, then after i re-rolled, i just had to do it again. i do have a decent mind poison NS lance with 325str./97%pot. but that's mainly used as my own personal "pvp combat balance". normally i use my ADK enhanced 5.2sp 887max LVA. true i bought that one, but hell, i only use my DoT's be it my mind poison NSL for *some* pvp and my NSEL just to be a show off. i'd never stack my melee professions for better defense or any of that standard crap (got tkm for meditate for now, but that's goin away soon) just because i love pike so damn much that i choose not to defile it by melee stacking. Running my genocidal rampage against the nightsisters since summer of '03 and counting!

I have been a Pikemen since 6 months after launch. I love it. I am a pike/doc and it works great for clearing out lairs and rezing ppl. Being a trando i get better race mods for tkm, but i found out that tkm just doesnt have the area attacks like pike do. When rancors were spawning in the valley/alley, pike RULES for collecting meat. I wouldnt drop pike for anything.

I use my 1.1k Max LVA 95% of the time, just recently I been using DoTs more often, on Jedi...mainly the runners, give them something to take home with them.

pikeman since day one over here, have a 1000 dmg pike, 200+ str health fire, and various poison stix. i try to make use of whatever i have to get good results and don't see anything wrong with that short of cheating and exploiting. i don't think that makes me any less of a pikeman than anyone else...
if you got it use it but i agree with the original poster in that people should play the prof that they like best and not because u got a nice loot drop.
get doc 3000 and resists if you can't handle the dots...
