Heres my top ten.....
1) Why is the pikeman proffesion the online equivelant of the weasel Pauly Shore?
2) Did you actually think we would settle for NS loot over fixes to our proffesion?
3)What good does NS Loot do pikeman if they cant kill the mobs that drop them?
4) Who couldnt hit sand on Tatooine even if they dropped there weapon? (even you guys know thisone)
5) Why must Pikeman i be a Master PIkeman / Master Brawler with all the defenses trees of TK and
Fencer to stand a chance in PvP combat against any one of these SINGLE PROFFESIONS?
6) When are you going to consider fixing the class instead fo giving us yet another " List of crap we arent
fix but want to refresh our memory on what it was gain " post?
7) When are you guys gonna quit pampering TKM and look at other combat proffesions?
8) When will you quit listening to all the PvP whiners and quit nerfing the fundamentals of PvE?
9) How many times must i write this out?
10) If you were a hotdog would you eat yourself? I know i would, Id be delicious

Please take 3 minutes and just imagine yourself as a Pikeman and imagine (Since guaranteed no one there plays a Novice Pikeman or above) how all these negative qualities affect our performance. (One example: Youuse PH3[that's PolearmHit3], costs 250-275 HAM, miss, 4 seconds later,repeat, miss, 4 seconds later,repeat, miss,4 seconds later, repeat,hit for weak damage, now you are about 1/4 [25%] health/action, no choice but to do regular attacks, you are unable to swing at the Teras Kasi Artist who is beating on you at the exact moment all the while 5-6m apart....you shuffle and close the wiiiiide gap between you two to 4m so your Short Vibr....err, LONG Vibro Axe can swing.......MANY other scenarios.....)
4. Of all the readily available professions Pikeman (A COMBAT profession, mind you) has been recorded as the least played, least Mastered profession and I will not be at all surprised if we still hold that championship title.
Through observing your actions and information yougive us(or lack there of), a daunting question has arisen and must be asked: Does our small community, who are fiercly loyal to this profession, loyal enough to remain sticking with this profession despite ALL of it's shortcomings (Which is the reason why many people avoid Pikeman), because of our small number, does that land us at the bottom ofyour "To-do" list?.........Regardless of your answer please explain the reasoning behind the lack of attention/tweaks/responses/FIXES given us compared to all the other combat professions...... "You are not important enough"is an acceptable answer, however undesireable, it is a much better answer than the ones you have given us.....Silence being one of them........
5. In the Star Wars movies..........Pikeman have a 'Star'.......a 'rolemodel' if you will............The Crimson Guards......2nd comes Darth Maul....looking at both of them in each hand and we decided the Royal Guard Pikeman are more attainable.....Do you plan on IMP'lementing these uniforms andweaponto us Pikeman?...If so, how?......If undecided, what are the choices?..........

hahaha! this is the second time I've heard Pauly Shore come up while discussing pikeMan.. why does everyone hate poor Pauly? poor fellah needs some love too... ![]()

1) What is the status on the weapon changes? The Force Pike was the top community pick for a new Pikeman weapon at the master level, is this one of the weapons we will be receiving?
2) The Pikeman community is the smallest in the game for non-jedi professions. Does this affect the amount of coding/dev time we receive?
3) We submitted a class defintion for pikeman, and were wanting to know how it compares to the dev vision of pikeman?
4) What does the dev team have in store for Pikeman other than what we will get from the combat pass?
5) How is Block intended to work?
6) Do you as the designers agree that we should have such low defenses, low speed, horrible accuracy and mediocre offense, (from our weapon, damage mitigation and the 3x dmg modifier our hit3 has compared to every other melee's x4) with nothing to make up for any of these disadvantages?
7) Do you as the designers agree with unarmed fighters having a 1m advantage in range over a polearm fighter?
8) What is the rationale behind making TKA the absolute best in every melee category with many unique abilities and only very small disadvantages (kinetic-only, no bleeds)?

My main concern is that everytime we submit a Top 5 or ask for any kind of Dev Love, we are referred to the upcoming 'Combat Balance Pass'...
To me, this is nothing more than dangling a carrot in front of us...I think our profession needs some IMMEDIATE fixes to put us more in line with the other melee classes. I've seen unscheduled fixes go in for other horribly gimped professions, but never anything that was actually beneficial to pikemen (ie: no more stackable action bleeds).
At the very MINIMUM, I would like to see one or two things given IMMEDIATE attention and not promised for some patch that is MONTHS away.
That being said, the things I'd like answered concern our accuracy and weakness of PH3 - both of these need honest answers and shouldn't be too hard to do a hotfix for...
We've been igonored since day one, and since we apparently have their ear (no telling for how long) we may as well get something out of...
First off the devs are wanting to know about PIKEMEN so let's tell them about PIKEMEN. This is OUR chance to FINALLY pick the devs mind. Let's not waste it whining and crying about another profession please.
My questions (some may be redundant but I had to strain my brain to get 10)
1. First off just how much of our problems are they aware of? Are they aware of how much of a pain it is to play this profession without the first +30 accuracy box because of the accuracy mods?
2. What does the combat pass mean for Pikemen? What specifically will we get in the pass? Will we get new weapons, bug fixes and adjustments and if so what are they?
3. Is our abnormally low toughness, horrible weapon accuracy mods and 3x modifier on our master special intended and if not will they be fixed?
4. Can we get a greater variety of weapons in the combat pass? Our high damage comes from our weapons. We have slow heavy weapons (like the LVA) but can we get some "light" fast weapons that don't do as much damage but are much faster and have a tighter damage range? Quick weapons with a tighter damage range would make us more viable in PvP because of quicker attacks and we wouldn't be affected by mitigation as much. More variety in weapons would also give the PvE Pikeman more options. Wecould do slow heavy damage or fast light damage depending on a given situation.
5. Our elite weapon isn't considered all that great because of it's light armor piercing. Can it be improved?
6. We only do 2 damage types can we be given weapons that do more?
7. Will something be done about the redundacy of our 2 main AOE attacks? The differences between Spin Attack and Area Attack are not very noticable. Could they be changed in such a way that they are truly different. For instance stun attack 2 is an AOE attack with a stun effect. Perhaps give an additional status effect to one of our main AOE attacks.
8. We view ourselves asdamage dealing AOE specialists. How do you view us?
9. All melee professions have their niche. Fencers are defensive TKA's are unique with their abilities and Swordsmen seem to strike a balance between defense and offense. How are we to be viewed and what is our niche?
10. Finally can you add Gunman21 to your payroll please and give him a raise right off the bat?
1. What can we expect in sofar as weapon changes? Damage mitigation coupled with our horrible accuracy makes us utterly useless in PvP, is there anything in the works to tighten the reigns on this or what can we expect for new weapons, non-loot?
2. If bleeds are no longer to be stackable from a single player,will there be a system in place that will keep the highest bleed going by a player? Even if the bleeds are applied over different pools? I.E. Land actionhit1, 4 combat passes later a mind disease lands off a pike...which one would stay ticking?
3. There was an obvious direction that was invisioned when the Pikeman class was developed into the game. From as far back as I've seen we have never been made aware of what that role is, yet, we are asked what we think it is...What position were we created for, and how doYOU see us fitting or not fitting our initial design.
4. How is the new combat system going to effect special moves based off HAM and secondaries?
5. Our primary defence is block, how exactly is block designed to work?
