Yup, I wrote a feedback thread earlier with the same conclusions.
My solutions to the current problem:
1.) Make Jedi Toughness reduce LS damage
2.) Make Lightsaber Toughness NOT reduce LS damage
3.) Move Force Armor back to Defence, leave Force Shield in Enhance
4.) Reduce Force Power delay / increase force power damage / reudce force power cost
My reasoning:
1 & 2 will remove the best Jedi defensive mods from the same box as the best offensive mods. 3 will make Defence more viable and more of a counter to Master LS, while reducing Enhance's effectiveness against LS. 4 will make powers more viable in PvP. My goal is to have LS and Defence balance each other while Powers and Enhance balance each other. Healing I just kind of leave alone as it seems balanced to me, ATM.

Kindred, they can't do that. It's too simple, too easy and too effective. Too good to be true.
I think they will change only ONE number in the code.
So I don't think this will be done.

I feel that since states havent been fixed yet, jedi vs jedi pvp is the same. Just use ur big damaging attacks and win. if they fixed states i feel that jedi vs jedi PvP would be more tactical as the CU is supposed to be. Also, the healing delay we have wouldnt be a big deal either if we had states because we can throw on a few states and the other guy wouldnt be able to hit as much more if stun worked he would be more worried about haveing no action regen. Lastly, a BH could benifit from this and be able to use states to take down there target which would be noob jedis. In the end if the devs fixed states i believe that many problems people complain about wouldnt be complained about any more.

CU takes zero skill at the moment, Root/snare/stasis and anything that doesnt have a *counter* should be removed from the game, it just doesnt take any skill.

exactly my point... was thinkin maybe give Master healer the abilty to heal root snare mezz and armor break but deffinately not a dabbler

yep and sorry people ROOT is NOT the new "kd+dizzy" , kd/dizzy was one of the most easy things to get out of. Root is basicly like the "i win" button IMO for group pvp or when you're being ganked.
And with Group PvP , most idiots would just lunge you back up, lol....SEE YOU CANT DO IT NOW<> TAKES NO SKILL!

With respec I tested all templates and master defender with MLS is the best, I just think its lame to get just to be good. Im a dabbler myself and just pick the powers that fit my dark jedi I role play. With master powers you cant do hardly any dmg against a jedi with MLS/MD, if you want to pvp against jedi MLS/MD/ healer 4000 is the only way or you can substitue ME for MD if you like.

MLS/MD+4004 healer or dabble would have to be one of the worst tempaltes IMO at the moment.
