I use dots and a high dmg LVA. And I am a real pikeman, what makes someone not real? They got the Master Pikeman title that is the same as yours. Unless you're actually a Fencer...

so a real master pikeman is sum1 who doesnt use dots ,what a load of ****.u pvp to win ,i used to be master fencer master tk 4443 medic and i would duel any1 i would do ok against most ppl but dueling pikemen was a real pain,and for the most part i would loose,so instead of moaning i adapted my template to pikeman,as well as now being a lot better in pvp and enjoying it more i can now also do a lot better in pve.what i actually think ur trying to say is u havent got the cash needed to buy good pikes or u can be bothered to go out looting forgood pikes?,getting the pikes and aas cas i have now must have cost me 50 mill plus and i got my high dam lva for free,being a pikeman IS about finding and owning the best pikes and there is always something better to look for and partly that is what makes pikes so good.If i duel or see someone with uber dot pikes that are better than mine i dont moan i say fairplay to em for getting and owning those pikes,and u no whats funny ? i bet ur one of them ppl that says sure il duel you BUT NO DOTS and that coming from a pikeman would make me rofl.

Any real player knows that if you have 2 use DoT's to stand a chance you should use them. they are part of our prof why not.

i trully grined pikeman first because of the animations and sounds, that hes weapons made,

dots never called me my attention and i dont like them,

but now i cannot live without a pike of 700dmg or morehehe

but still i dint grab pikeman for dots

you must not pvp vs non jedi alot then

pikeman vs non player w/o dots = instant death unless you use a def prof i have a 859 max dam lva which is nearly 1k dam with pup im speed capped and got +22 acc and i still cant touvh a tkm so i just stick with mind dots tbh

i dont pvp, its true but when i do it i suck and canot kill almost any1, even with my 1k dmg pikes un;ess the target will not use armor i crush them

I'm master Pikeman becuaseI wanted to have it. Not because of Dots or such (never even used a Dot weapon)

I wanted to try a melee professions and in my eyes pikeman is the most Star Warsy melee profession. Pikes can be seen in Jabbas Palace and the Imperial Red Guards have pikes. How many times do one see fencers or swordsmen? Big fat Zero

Pikeman is fun and I like it.. and sticking to it.

pikes is cool, i picked it up cuz i wanted it, but the whole thing about "not being a true pikeman" if you use DOTs is kinda silly (if i read your post right). I have had pikeman for quite awhile now and have simply addapted to the use of DOTs cuz that is what is currently making this profession truly viable in PvP....when the CU comes out and DOTs get the nerf bat, hopefully pikeman will be evened out w/ the other professions and made viable w/out simply having totally rediculously awesome weapons ^_^ and then i will adapt too...but as of now, DOTs are the way to go

Lol. there's a food for fire that will buy you another 2-3 hits. enough time to drop them to there knees and than to thier back if necesarry.
