Im sick of all the Pikeman, who only grind'd out and went pikeman is because they bought or loot'd a mind fire. IM so sick of ppl thinking and saying how "Uber" they are when all they do is switch weapons to stack a fire or poison till you incap then DB and think they are ownage. LoL Such a joke, some of us are real Pike's who grind it out cause Pikeman owns without DOT's and Fire's all the rest of you if you have to buy your wins go right ahead m8's.

Most of the time i just use my damage pike, its usually all I need for jedi ect...

I became master over a period of a year playing swg, quit again, played again etc.
playing swg, quit again, played again etc.Got hurt A LOT, always in front taking the blows and doing a hefty max 1200 dmg on my specials (LoL)
I did it all with my 3.0 377 maxdmg. Its still there and ill hang it on the wall if i have a newer one. Have a VL maxdmg 480 now, but a bit slower.
Seen stuff change, a lot of people chose pike now, indeed for the dot "pwnedge". Hope they wont nerf it too much, now i have master!
Tried the dot, didnt like it that much.

DoT = Ew.
I had a 214 strength mind fire lance... know what I did with it? .. yup, I sold it, 2.6 mil. And I'm a master pikeman, have myself a 688 max dmg LVA, don't like DoTs. I'd consider myself a real pikeman.. or close to one.

i consider myself a real pikeman, but I use DOTs in 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 PvP fights. . . .
if i am even in group PvP like 6+ per side, I dont do it b/cause of the time it wastes, and I tend to watch the Large Blur of sabers from far back, when someone gets out of the circle of fighting i try to cut them off. . . . .
i dont have any mind poisons tho', except a crappy Janta...............

So what good can you do in PvP without them? Aside from having an extremely high-damage lance, what damage would you do? Please, tell me - as I honestly do not know.
Until there is some sort of "fix" to our weapons, we will essentially be forced to use the dots.

yea when I was a pikeman I used dot pikes, so what? There's 94078306 other dotwhores out there, it's not like I would have made a difference. If you have dots, use 'em.. pikemen use dots and high dmg pikes, cm throws poison and disease, fencers.. well fencers just poke you or something

I used to use my dots for zerging only.... that's now gone. Used to use it for krayts when paired with a swordsman.. just use hit 3 now. 968 max damage pike does it all for me. Just need an ADK now. 238/470 condition. having a friend hold on to it for me because i don't know if i hold the willpower to not use it.
And I went pikeman because of AoE dizzy/kd. Not dots.

although i feel your only here because you got killed by a DoT. i agree, DoT's ruined pvp IMO. I would never use them, hwoever you CANNOT succeed in PvP without them. the saddest part is that i killed a fully bufffed tka (i was unbuffed) just by stacking 2 poisons and keeping him dizzy/kd'd and warcried. truly pathetic

You have to adapt to be good at pvp, if you don't want to use dots because you feel that somehow makes you a better pikeman(when in fact you're probably losing more battles), stay in your own world because until the cu, dots, jedi, exceptional weapons, and rifleman are the only things that can do decent damage.

AHEM us real pikemen were after axvka as soon as the server came online this morning in hope of a nsel motor or schem and u know what SHE DIDNT SPAWN but her cronies all did so igot some xp but STILL NO GOOD LOOT even from 2 elders
