More options with the songs we have. Add a /style rock, jazz, classical, that could change the sound of each instrument, make it adjustable while playing. Take the jazzy sound of the nalagron with virtoso and apply it to starwars1 (instead of that boring organ sound...) Everyone loves how electric the mando sounds with starwars1, being able to use that for ballad or waltz would be the same as two new songs. /changebandstyle disco would make the cantina much more fun. Oh, and make /changeband commands only useable by the bandleader...
Other ideas.. Make instruments craftable with these customized styles, would be a burden to carry around 12 instruments, maybe like a skill tape that can be sockted? Decay and all...
Oh, and like how armoursmith's have the RIS armour quest, Let us musicians group up and search for that legendary rare song... the one that could tame a rancor when played correctly.

I'd just like more songs and instruments, I was hoping for maybe a japanese tsugaru type sound. Or giving the mandovil a song that has that sound. It would be perfect for duel theme music and such. There are already lots of classical type rythms, I'd like more rock and cultural type songs (gypsy music, japanese tsugaru, another electric guitar song, african drums, bagpipe sound etc..)
And make mandovils louder and horns softer! I cant hear myself play half the time.
Since the last patch, far fewer players are PvP'ing and more players are relying on pets to keep them from dying. This has resulted in less wound healing experience for entertainers.
The entertainer healing experience rate per mind wound/fatigue point should be slightly increasedto compensate.
It's disheartening to be standing in coronet cantina, grouped with 19 other performers, needing 275,000 more experience points to achieve master, and getting maybe200 points per player that bothers to show up with wounds. That might happen once every 5 minutes or so. It's insane.
Lower the buffing time of the targeted buff. Also give the buff an icon in the status bar so that people will know when it takes full effect.
Bring the Passive buffs time to buff down to 10 mins. Also allow it to buff everyone in the group, whether or not they are watching/listening.
Allow the entertainer buffs to be refreshed or overwritten.
Allow the entertainer to buff himself.
Also when a person dies with the entertainer buff on they cant get another one until the old buff "wears" out.

How about a mind-healing Audio-player buff. Musicians can record a'song' that a character can play in the field to heal mind damage (not wounds). This type of 'mind stimpack' could solve our 'not getting enough tip and entertainer missioncredit' problem too. Ofcourse we'd need a new type of crafting station - aRecording Studio station.
fix buff! make it so that the all parties involved are informed when I buff has started, how long it will take to max out and when it is finished! we need this!
move all instrument crafting to Novice Musician except slitherhorn, leave it in Novice Entertainer
make instruments have condition values so that they break after a while... enable high level musicians to use experimentation points to craft high durability instruments...this would give us instrument crafters more business, act as a money sink and give instrument crafters something to use our experimentation points on!
make one new instrument every 3 months, make it only come in schematics from a vendor like the RIS armor

Yep, it appears a hotfix went in today. Crossing my fingers it works for you. Try spamming /stopmusic when you get on today, then try playing.

This is the most important and annoying issue. How am I supposed to interact with others while this stupid bug exists?
As Isee it the new top issue is the entertainment healing xp.
Since the 5% decay patch ppl dont die as often anymore, so to get ent healing xp u have to pay ppl to get mind diseased bya combat medic and then watch u.
Ive been dancing for4 days now, and Ive made 90k healing xp, and I play for atlease 10 hours a day.
I've had an opinion about the mandoviol being a Master Entertainer only item since...well, since beta.
I think the Mandoviol and Ommni Box should be switched. It's stupid to have the only two percussion instruments so close (relatively speaking) to each other in the Music Knowledge tree. (In my never-humble opinion, that is.) I really feel that a non-hand-held instrument should be the mark of a Master -- Narlagon for Musicians, Ommni Box for Entertainers.
'Course that'd make hearing Ceremonial really rare, since pretty much the only reason anyone ever bothers to Master Entertainer is for the mandoviol. But then it'd be even more special than it is now.
I guess I'll re-post this to the Entertainer forum, since I have other issues with the Master Entertainer box.
