If people want to start fights, or even duel just for fun, there should be the option on the radial menu to "take it outside". Both participants in the duel will be moved outside where they can finish their duel. No fine will be charged, or no 10 minute penalty, they will just be put outside for the duel and can come inside once it is done.

I actually think cantina fights are kind of neat. The cantina itself is not some upstage hangout. It is for the average person, albeit more for the lowlifes. So, to see a fight, itactually goes well with the ambiance. But I agree on people being rude. That effects people personally and should be punishable.

I can agree with Niklesnitz because sometimes it is cool to have a barfight in the cantina. I have to admit I have encourged some in the past. Hehe.

So, mabye the removing of duels can be removed, since it can be enjoyable to watch a barfight. Just as long as the people don't go overboard and have one every two minutes because that is just distracting.

Thanks for your opionion Niklesnitz

Why not have something in the wound healing line, that would allow for an actual mind pool heal. As a brawler, I'm finding 90% of my incaps/deaths come from my mind pool running out, thanks to great work from medics. There's no one that can heal the mind pool though, so the best I can do is max my regen stat and hope for the best.

That and have the advanced levels of battle fatigue healing work to reduce BF in camps would be nice too.

We could also(this is a long shot one...), have some sort of dd type attack from our musicial techniques line as well. But I'm not really expecting this idea to be given much credit

Cephas_ please take a look at either the musician or dancer skill tree...Wound and fatigue healing take up half the tree. Basically, the higher level musician/dancer healing you in the camp, the faster you BF will go down. It does heal faster the higher the level healing they have. Maybe when you were in camp and an entertainerwas healing you, it wasjust that, an entertainer, not a musician or dancer. For example, the person wasan entertainer under the entertainer tree not the musician or dancer skill tree, or maybe the person was a real musician or dancer, just not ahigh level in battle fatigue or wound healing. But remember, healingis slower or not as effectivein camps than in cantinas or theaters.

Healing in camps is bugged, I have no BF reduction for customers in camps. That should be fixed. Field entertainment is valued enough that we are considering cantinas.

I want a /deny or /bounce. Rude people wont be healed by a medic, rude people can't get a gunsmith to make them a e\wepaon, so rude people in Cantina's should not get healed. The entertainer should not get exp either.

I would like two songs for the beginner, then normal. Add a song for novice. Heck, popgoestheweasel1.

I believe it's a design decision that BF not be healed in camps -- it's a way of forcing people to return to citys. Mind wound healing should work in camps, though I love the idea of giving the Musician/Dancer a way to drop a mind heal during battle. Demand for our skills would go way up!

Also, I wanted to express my support for colored instruments, or perhaps instruments with designs or something like that on them. Like a candystriped slitherhorn or a traz made of gold.

I've read over the thread and it's was interesting. Have to consider the devs have to do the code to implement some of these ideas and small changes are what they're looking for. Anyway he we go:

1. To solve the issue of non-musicains coming in and having to stop band and play sw1 do this: All cantians/taverns have a level or skill limit so that in order to play at said location the low level toon has to have master enterainer/musician as a mentor or high enough skill. Thus, the master is the mentor and it will be more acceptable to me to allow lower level to play with our group. Otherwise all the lower skilled start at lower level places and away from the higher ones like in real life if your a beginner entertainer would you go on broadway at first or play at the ceremony at end of sw1 movie?

2. Tips there is a split tip for combat group so why not for musicians? If you are waiting for tips to come in anyway your not going to make alot unless your lucky. Look into other fields for that extra money become a image designer or a marksman.scout and sell animal materials.

3. Master musician needs to be rewritten because as one you dont get all the songs and instruments unless your a master enterainer first. The tree is wrong under this description musician need to be above master entertainer in the tree and not below it. Master musician should get all the songs and instruments available in the game and shouldnt need master entertainer to get them. Not all entertainers are going to musician so reaching master musician should be enough to get it all.

4. Healing and fatigue trees need work if your a cantina player it's not necessary to have combat ability but if your out in the field with fighters I'd recommend you get atleast the first 4 boxes of combat skills for atleast some protection for yourself.

5. Get out and enjoy the world see some landscape and/or interact with people dont spend 12 hours a day 7 days a week in cantina. Get a breather go outside and look around.

Have fun gang thats the key to the game.

1 new song at least.

I dont know if its possible due to copyrights and such but it would be nice if there would be another ceremonial at master musician. In the playable songs you got the classic cantina song and the remixed imperial march so it should be possible.

You know the ceremonial song at the end of Episode 4 A New Hope when Luke,Han and the others gets their medals.THAT would be a ceremonial song that could be used somewhere else than in a cantina.

That way musicians would have another purpose than just healing and such, they could also do PA ceremonies and such.I think that would be greatly appreciated

Here's a serious proposition for the newbie/common-denominator/SW1 issue:

Add low-skill percussion instruments, with limited flourishes, that can play along with otherwise unknown songs. For example, a tambourine or cowbell or maracas. A low-level player can tambourine along with a song he/she couldn't otherwise play. That's realistic and it means more songs are open to newbies without making advanced skill less special. Only the advanced musicians can actually play the music, but the novices can still contribute.

And just imagine a dancer with castanets.

My other four requests might not merit the top five, but they'd sure improve my experience.

1. Big pets block the view, and probots make that godawful hum. Let sufficiently high-level band leaders /bounce pets and droids out of the building. I'm tempted to say players too, but there's room for abuse there and communication should take care of that.

2. Heal battle fatique in camps, even at a reduced rate, so that entertainers are invited on excursions. Mind wounds just aren't that common or consequential.

3. Let musicians with hand-held instruments move around. RL musicians do it all the time, and it's a pain to have to stop the music to reposition yourself closer to your new bandmate and away from the CH's bantha.

4. Accomplished entertainers should be able to acquire or check out NPC fans/groupies/sycophants similar to faction pets and, yes, willing to provide defense.

KapowBzapp has struck on an excellent idea! A tambourine or similar instrument allowing you to tap out the time would make an excellent novice instrument - and you can add percussion flourishes the more accomplished you become, at two per Musicianship box, so a Novice Entertainer can just tap out the rhythm, at Musicianship I they can perform two flourishes in time with the current song, and at Musicianship IV they can perform eight percussion flourishes to match the current song. Anyone can now join in and contribute to any song (although percussion would not go well with some songs and earn a little bit of xp for it, perhaps at the equivalent base rate of the Slitherhorn playing SW1.

I'm all for the idea.
