I don't mind if people change their votes; I'll just count your last post in this thread as your final vote. (No ballot-box stuffing!) I'll ask whatever question gets the most support here, whether it's about theaters, or if it's no question at all, or the Theed question. Still not sure when precisely it's due, but I'm assuming no earlier than Monday and probably later.
One dumb question about the Theed question: Shouldn't it say "What planet is Theed on" rather than "What planet is Theed, Naboo on"? Or is it supposed to be in the same vein as "Who's buried in Grant's Tomb?"
Yes, I beleive it is.

you know i wonder if he would actually accept that question.
somehow i doubt it, probably cite that it is unconstructive or negative.
That said if we do ask that question (which planetis naboo, theed on? one) i wonder if he would come into this thread to find another, and HOPEFULLY, just HOPEFULLY see how absolutely pessimistic us musicians have become.
for the record i vote for that question.
He'll probably reject whatever question is asked and come into this forum and answer that one. And the answer will be that it will be addressed after the JTL.

It's supposed to be the way it is ![]()
I figured by giving us "answers" like "we'll think about it" and "after JTL" they're pretty much telling us nothing anyways. In all honesty, no jokes, I feel like this whole game has been abandoned lately. Just this feeling I keep getting, like you fly in an airplane for 14 hours, get into the cockpit, and realize there's no one there...
I, by no means, wish to encourage a negative or unconstructive question. I think it's cool that they have this periodic Q+A thing. However, I find it's hurting the Dev's reputation quite a bit lately. I'm not sure that they realize how answers like "after JTL" and "after the Jedi Revamp" and "after the Combat Rebalance" basically says this to their customers' current and pressing concerns: "We're too busy to be bothered with you right now, come back in a year."
Now, I very well know that the Devs' don't have magic wands that they can wave to instantly change game features, and these things take time. But, maybe they'd make themselves look a little more involved and interested in our ideas/concerns if they took the less "easy" way out with the answers, and said something like, "That's a good point and a great idea, we'll get to incorporating that into the game as soon as our schedule allows." It's the same answer, but not with that tone of "we've got a lot more important things to work on than your suggestion."
Again, I'd like toreiterate my opinion on why the Entertainer community's attitude has shifted to being more frustrated/exasperated/disappointed with the Devs. Aside from needing some serious attention and consideration in this game, I think we have an inherent problem with the current correspondent/Dev lines of communication. This is NOT to say I'm not happy with the correspondents, I think we have the BEST correspondents in these forums - because they're very social people, too. No, this is to say that we are people who enjoy socializing. We talk face to face, how are things, are you ok, can i help, etc etc. When our line of communication to the Development team is channeled through an intermediary, of course we're going to get frustrated - that's not how we prefer to converse with people. The correspondents do a great job at going between us and the Devs (and personally I don't know how they put up with us haha), but all I'm saying is that if a Dev, any Dev, made the miniscule effort to post in our forums or gave our correspondents a post to put up, it would renew our faith in the Dev team and let us know our ideas and concerns are valid and appreciated. Even if it was something stupidly small, like ONE place we can sticky for new Social Gameplay ideas (and it was solicited from a Dev) we would be ecstatic! It would give the Devs one and only one place to look (we have ideas all OVER the place) and we'd feel we're contributing to making our professions better.
As the Devs have said, this style of gameplay is new to an MMORPG. This demands that our social professions get a littleMORE attention, to see if it's working, or how it could work better...not LESS. These forums are my FAVORITE part of the SWG forums, because there are so many creativeideasfor new gameplay every day. I only wish that the people supposedly in charge of improving this game (and championing our new style of gameplay) would read these posts and contribute to our community in some way or another.
Ok, i'm done.

"We'll beat you to it - After JTL, After the Jedi Revamp. Maybe. No way. We don't know. We'll think about it. AHHHH, that's out of the way, now here's a question from which the answer will be about as useful as those already stated above - What planet is the city of Theed, Naboo located on?" Thank you for brushing off the needs/concerns of An Empire Divided for a minority of players onevery server (Jedi),and for an expansion pack that was NOT supposed to take resources away from this game. Save your breath on a response. Just like the other answers, we've all heard it before."

Oh dear, what did me and my big mouth start now....
Well, when TH reads that question, he'll probably say something along the lines of "If you're like that, there's no point in me answering any questions at all" and use that as an excuse to discontinue the 19 answers thread completely, blaming us for it ![]()
(and no, I'm not sure myself if that was sarcasm or a serious prediction)
I whole heartly believe that once the combat balance, GCW and space come around that the social classes will get some deserved love from the devs.
Don't worry, it'll never come to that. On the Dancer boards, we picked out a questions and had it handed to TH. It was about our role in the game, what did they think it was, etc. etc.
But instead, TH answered a completely different question that we didn't even want answered. Don't worry, he'll answer something ![]()
