Chances are the "master" musicians and dancers you are speaking to are themselves, AFK...they probably are trying to work up extra healing xp as master of that profession before they drop it to pick up the other elite entertainment profession. Actually, all Musicians and Dancers are passionate about the profession. We're just sorelyoutnumbered by the musicians and dancers who are just running through afk macrotaining.

We are constantly working at improving the quality of both ourselves and our profession. One of the best things we can lobby for in order to improve our profession is to request the removal of the AFK'ers. Also, we answer all hologrinder questions with the same respect that the question is asked. When someone comes to the forums and says "**edit** te **edit**ing hoelo mad mee pek op this **edit**ing perfeshon gime a macro so I kan goe pwn mor tings agin" I am much less likely to be respectful in my reply than if someone says "Hey, sorry to butt inand clutteryour boards, but I'm choosing to do the holos and wondered if anyone could give me a couple of pointers to doing musician. Thanks."
>> See above in regards to your first comment. In regards to respecting hologrinders, I'm calling BS. Perform a simple search for "AFK Macro" in the Entertainer, Dancer, or Musicianforums and look at theseso-called respectful responses (atleast the ones that haven't been deleted or edited already).
The fact is, there are hundreds of macros provided on the Musician, Dancer, and Entertainer boards, all it takes is one quick search and these macros will pour out of the system for anyone who actually tries. A little more effort and the macroers could easily create their own macros! No one needs to come here and beg for AFK macros anymore, because they are readily available. (I mean, come on, if the new-born LAMer is looking for a macro, all it has to do is ask someone else in the cantina for the macro they're using...oh wait...never mind, that's not possible because everyone's AFK! My mistake, I guess they can't pick up the macros from the cantina.)

Doh!And hereI thought he'd found a way to play the game without being at the computer. 
Here I was going to ask him how to do that. It'd sure save me a bundle on a laptop capable of running Galaxies if I could play the game when away from my desktop... 
Ah well, back to putting money into my laptop fund.

hehe.... I don't like watching TV, I usually go mow my lawn when I afk.
By the way I Mastered ID, Entertainer, Musician and Dancer all in 2 and a half weeks and have moved onto TKM and now doing Architect.
My goal in this game is to getEVERY badge I can(81 at the moment), not just to open a Jedi slot. So if I have to use a macro to get my goal accomplished then I will.
How do you feel about that?

well, since you're doing that by setting up a macro and mowing your lawn, I feel like you should be sending me your money instead. I promise to send you a little digital badge every week in return.

MABEY A PROFESSION HE WANTS TO DO IS JEDI BUT HAS TO GO THROUGH MUSICIAN/DANCER/ENTERTAINER TO GET THERE FIRST. HE PROBABLY DOESNT ENJOY SITTING WATCHING EVERY 10 SECONDS FOR THE WORDS "YOU GAIN 12 MUSICIAN EXP" APPEAR FOR 3 WEEKS STRAIGHT.
IF HE WANTS TO DO JEDI,LET HIM GET THERE THE WAY HE CHOOSES. AS STATED ABOVE, ITS THE DEVELOPER'S SYSTEM OF HOLOGRINDING, NOT HIS FAULT THAT HE WANTS JEDI.
