I'm just gonna stay here until the announcement, okay?

Sure thing, so long as you have chocolate.
*waits for the announcement*

Warryyr, I have no clue who you are, but I love you! You made the best post on the friday feature. I am sure if anyone else said that they would get ban without it even being read all the way through.
/Cheer Warryyr

You know what frustrates me?Calandryll_SOE made a big huge deal that from now on if they said they were going to do something and then decided they weren't that they would post an announcemnt stating as much and offer as much of an explination as they could. That hasnt happened and I doubt it will (it's already about 6pm Eastern). They said there would be an announcement ... there hasn't been (and posts from the Cors. imply there likely wont be) ... and yet no DEV has offered even "hey guys the announcement has to be delayed".
I appriciate the Cors giving us the update onthings going on behind the scenes and it makes be feel better about THIS issue...but it doesn't give me much hope that Calandryll's statement is going to be true going forward.

Lies! Lies and Libel!
I'm afraid I got my "C" Devs mixed up here. Chrysalide is the Dev who opened and then neglected the thread about the Entertainer quests. I had to go back and recheck my Dev Dirt List (Yup, it actually exists
)but it reflected that Calandryll's hands are thus far unsoiled.
Now, back to the post with the proper name included.
Chrysalide has been on my Dev Dirt List for awhile now. I recall a time shortly after one of the "improved communication between dev and player" announcements when he started a thread for feedback from the Theater quests. Weeks passed, the thread devolved from player suggestions and feedback into a pitiful scene of us begging him to come back and at least let us know he read the thing.Chrysalide really doesn't have much credibility, and SOETyrant's is waning. (Although I don't know if SOETyrant has directly broken a promise to us. He told us AFK would be going away after the CURB and they wouldn't have Development time for fixing AFK prior to the CURB. How that jives with their (admittedly lame) attempt to discourage AFK combat, I'm not entirely sure....)
Our correspondants are wonderful, but I too wish we could get some direct Dev communication around here--at least the Smugglers got that.
So...now that I have lost some of my credibility
... umm ... back to your regularly scheduled thread! Sorry, Calandryll!

Yeah, not sure what Cal's been up to.
I'm pretty bummed that we had a Dev tell us to wait for something, then they just leave us hangin. Not a very positive start to "positive changes."
We all get busy, but man - having the Corrs tell us it probably won't be out this week because of discussions wasn't instigated by a Dev, from the way we were told.
Would be nice to have an update we deserve to get, regarding the Musician profession especially, considering thatmany of us are still concerned about the direction we're heading to given a certain recent player event perk.

Well, Tyrant did tell us not to give up yet, and that positive changes were coming next week. Which was last week.
And, what upsets me more than anything, is that once again we have a situation where new content is headed our way, we're told about it andthe Devs fail to deliver (which does happen in IT), and suddenly what's supposed to finally be a great thing for Entertainers becomes something we get frustrated with, which kind of ruins the fun.
If we'd heard something yesterday to say, "We need a bit more time" or something similar today, we'd still be excited about the stuff on the way. Instead, we get our Corrs working on stuff and telling us (of their own accord) that things will take a little while longer so we might not get it this week.
Remember when the Quest was supposed to go Live, and then just...got stuck in TC limbo? And nobody would (Devs) or could (Corrs)say anything about when the Quest would go Live? Our first new song and dance since Launch, and it ended up with us being massively frustrated by the time it did go Live.
Well, history's kinda repeating itself, but here's to hoping that someday this bizarre cycle is finally broken with us. What's up with the gag order on anything Entertainer? What's up with Musicians getting upset over Jukeboxes, getting told to hang in there for positive changes announced the next week, then just....no one tells us anything? Man, that is just...not cool. Heh.

How about Rock on the Fizz?
I think it was flourish 6 that I did over and over to get the next box from that one, hehe.
(Not that I ever stuck on just one flourish, but sometimes I'd find a "favorite" and harp on it a lot.
(Like a kid that discovers the G chord!)
Well, I'm done hanging around here... I'm going to try and have some fun in-game!
Make sure no one takes my seat here... I put my gig bag on it to hold my spot.
If you need anything from my gig bag... feel free to take a look inside...
You never know what you may find.
(Does anyone else here have a satchel they use as thier "gig bag"?)
