That's the same thing I was thinking. I do not think we should relax and wait until next monday to have a question ready... if we do, TH will likely choose his own (no offense TH, I'm sureyou're watching

How about something fairly obviously wrong, like "Why can doctors buff themselves but musicians can't?"
Unfortunately, they answered that one a few questions back. Not answered well, but what question ever is answered well.

When in doubt, ask about money... the following iscopied frommy post in the recent 19 answers thread (and I shamelessly lifted it from the smuggler forum, where almost exactly the same question, only about smugglers, was answered in detail and in a very apologetic manner by a Dev)
As a musician, what are my mid-term incentives(say, the next 6 months) for keepingup my SWGsubscription? What new content developed especially for the entertaining professions is on the plate for that time-frame?

I do not completely agree with your point. Everyone pretty much knows none of our questions will be addressed until after JTL unless it pertains to Jedi, smugglers, BHs or the CB.
If we ask 'when?' then we also implicity ask 'do the devs think it should be?'... thatabove most other thingsis what I think the 19 Questions should be used for... to see what the 'end-intent' is by the devs.
If we do use the 'when' word, it would probably be best to phrase it something like 'how soon after JTL will this be possible?'
imho
I'm sorry LeBob, but we really can't assume thatTH willlook at a 'when' question and see what we implicitly ask.
The first round of questions from all professions included many 'When' questions, and the short answers were "After the JTL". In the case of entertainers, my opinion is that will happen even moreso since it seems from previous answered questions and from reports fromFF that the Devs really have little grasp about the mechanics of these professions for whatever reason, probably because they're quite busy with the JTL, Combat Balance and GCW Revamps.
I'm not suggesting these things to be negative (mostly
), but simply as a precaution. Let's make sure that the questions that are asked cannot be answered with a simple answer. Avoiding questions that have simple "Yes", "No" and "After the JTL" answers, I think, is just prudent, that's all ![]()

But we already know the answer to this one. Entertainer quests and the Hutt Casino. We really need to focus our question on something we don't know. Or, if we do know, something that is very pointed in saying, "your last answer was unacceptable."
So, I'm still going with the question I asked earlier. Buffbots are usually alt accounts, and will not be affected by the end of the hologrind. They will continue to take away our business opportunities. What do you plan do about that?
It's a question that really hasn't been asked so specifically before. And, the question is framed such that he can't just say "nothing" without explanation in the frame of the question since we've covered all the bases as to why "nothing" is not acceptable.
True. The answer will probably still be "nothing" with a reference to recursive macros being good for the community in order to curb 3rd party programs. But, I'm hoping something phrased like that will say exactly why it's completely terrible for the community, in particular the professions that it impacts most directly.
If we don't go with the buffbot question, I would strongly urge that we at least ask something that we don't know the answer to. I pretty much know the answer to all of the other questions already posed in this thread.
"How will the combat balance effect the action cost of flourishes?"
Perhaps this belongs in the Entertainer forum. I can repost it there if it is not appropriate here.

Simply in answering a 'when' question, one implies 'if.' If we do use the 'when' word, it would probably be best to phrase it something like 'how soon after JTL will this be possible within the scope of one year?' If we do phrase it this way, the viable answers are "This may/will be possible N amount of time after JTL" or "There is no time frame for this, because it is not going to happen"... I can see that TH might not use a viable answer (although I'm sure he is probably stretched thin)... but this will always be the case.
To reiterate, my vote is on asking any variation of a question on higher Entertainer Mission payouts -- very soon.
thanks
Ah, I totally agree with you there, and that was what I was originally going for in my post. I simply meant a general 'when' question wasn't good enough. ![]()
