Hmm... entertainers are just tired of being treated like dirt and considered as people REQUIRED to help heal and buff you without any compensation or even acknowlegement. The more you treat them like vending machines, the more distaste you will see.
You know what will be REALLY funny? As soon as the recursive macro fix goes into play, I'm planning to organize a mass Entertainer strike. Lets see you Combat jokers try to deal with entertainers who don't want to take any more crap. you can just sit there with 1000 battle fatigue and a bunch of mind wounds.
Maybe you'll have more respect for us when you can't get healed.

How would the looters in this game respond is anyone could walk up to a NPC in any NPC city and get any loot item with out cost at any time they wanted? Say, stacks of 11 identical high end krayt tissues, or the new loot kit components...
Yes that right they would be up in arms about how it was destroying thair fun and removing an imported source of income for them.
That is where entertainers are, Buffbots who are in essence NPC (a toon controlled by a computer)are giving away free buff's in public cantinas. And of cause the live entertainers are disgruntled about this.

Do you actually believe the crap your posting? Do you have any concept of the point of the post or are you one of those types that will argue the little things and semantics of a discussion, forgetting to see the whole picture?
Fett was obviously drawing an analogy of live entertainers vs. buffbots and scenario's of imagination of how it could relate to other classes. Yes we all know how you would lose the person in the scenario's he gave =P.
Thats not the point. He wasn't asking you to explain how you would foil the situation given, he was asking you to try to understand the point of view of an entertainer that can not just lose the buffbot.

This is not the buffbot forum, this is the musician forum. This forum is mend for thoughts that enjoy the musician profession to communicate with one another.
If you dislike our profession so much you cannot stand to play it, then you should drop the skills instead of trying to go permanently AFK.
2) i don't troll peoples posts even when i disagree with them because im not always right and yes you are trolling when you vicously attack someone on a thread for asking a simple question
If anyone are trolling it is you. You come here on a forum where it is clear people do not like buffbots and ask fore help to run one. That makes YOU the troll in this topic, so do everyone a favour and crawl back under whatever bridge you came from.
3) if you feel you don't like buff bots there are plenty of posts stickied at the top of the entertainer and musician forums there for that
I think I will keep posting my displeasure about buffbots in topics when buffbots ask for help. That is where they will se it. If you do not like reading posts that are unfavourable to buffbots, you should not read the entertainer boards.
4) posting bad buff posts is bad form
Why? I would say the Buffbots are bad form, and I will gladly tell any buffbot so. You post on the other had IS bad form.
and one last note no one cares about ANY of your clever theoretical situations/analogy that will never happen so as far as im concerned you can take your opinion and shove it up your exhaust thanks have a nice day
Well we write our analogies for your benefit. We give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume that the reason you do not care about how it affect us, is because you can put your self in our place.
Well from this I can se the problem is you are a egomaniac, a real jerk. You do not even wand to try to understand us, and care nothing about how what you do affect your felloe players.
So why should we care about your problems finding mind buffs?

I am not trying to "pick on you" Johnie as I also replied to another one of your posts in another thread very similar to this one. As a matter of fact i have tried to stay out of both of those threads because it just leads to more arguements but here are some facts for you......
Unattended gameplay was NOT intentional on the part of the Developers. If the Devs could find a way to kill any type of unattended gameplay and not impact a large portion of the community ( Crafters in particular), they would have done so already.
I am betting that you will still be able to run the bots until the combat revamp, but after that, no more unattended game play. By people having buff-bots, they are by their very nature destructive to the entertainer economy. It doesn't matter to a lot of you that by your own decisions you kill the gameplay for a lot of other people.
We are all here to have fun, but your buffbots have taken people away that would have come to me or one of my fellow entertainers and you all have given reasons for their existance. Such as, "I can not find "any" entertainers buffing when I am on, or it takes to much time to go to Bestine / Theed / Coronet / Where Ever and I can only play for an hour, etc. I can sympathize with those reasons, but when we detail our reasons we are all told that we are just whining, and to shut up. Why is that?
There has to be a middle ground, and better minds than mine are working on solutions, but come on, you have to give as well as take in this situation, because with buffbots everywhere, entertainers are reduced to being NPCs.
