Hi


I went through the thread and did not see this so I will mention it here.


I have just finished a vendor make over I got rid of older vendors and made all new ones with the higher end aliens and uniforms for the human vendors. The trouble is all my old vendors still are listed on the map even tho I deleted them.

what about the bug that allows people to set auctions starting at 6000 credits so no one can buy them?

Still getting the 'you are already creating a vendor' msg after connection went mid-create. Have logged and waited half an hour, but it doens't seem to clear.

Not a major disaster to me as this was just a last vendor to get XP and I have others that will take sales for me meantime, but I can imagine it would be a major issue for, say, an artisan with one placeable vendor.

This seems similar to a bug the ID's had in that a session could be held 'open' if a client went LD while it was in progress. afaik that has been fixed, though this one seems to have been in the merchants buglist since last December?

People buy an item, I get the money, the item disapears from their pack. Any fix for this?

well, this one bug seemed to be limited to very few people, but it coused me to loose hundreds of weapons and millions in revenue, emails and csr plees even csr discusions all failed is why I left 6 months ago, came back to play with my friend and the bug still exists.


the bug consists of expiring items and trying to retrieve them, I had 100 weapons expire all at once and when I went to retrieve them, the retrieve box becomes emty after pulling out one item, only way to get those items out before game eats them is to relog and retrieve another item , relog again and again 100 times a night (as I was told to do by a CSR at that time) . Since then I found another way to retrieve items, a little faster but not by much is to place another vendor down, and swap retrieves after pulling one item from each vendor at wchich point the retrieve box goes emty again, and I activate other vendor get one item and then do this over and over.


Well I am glad to see that this bug still hounts me.

I recently had my name changed. Fair enough, fair cop. That doesn't bother me. My problem is that my vendor no longer e-mails me. A csr suggested that I pick up my vendor and replace it. It didn't help at all.

This is extremely inconveniant is making a major hit on my gameplay experience. How am I supposed to run a shop when I don't know when things are bought from it? I have to spent ages every time i log in just looking through a rapidly expanding list of itemsin my vendorjust to make sure that something hasn't gone offsale.

If you think these bugs are something to talk about, just wait till you see the fresh new set of bug coming out in the next few mini-patches....


Try Thses on for size:


All Stats on ALL items on a vendor stop showing up.. the only fix is to remove every item on the vendor into your inventory and relist it on every vendor...


No Items ie. resources or crates will now show the number of units in the crate on the catagory or sub catagory browser windows .. you have to opens stats window on every item to stt how many there are n the crate or container ... if the stats windows work ..


If an items auction expires and the item is returnedto the stockroom you might or might not get a system message that tells you it has expired right before you get a system message that tellsyou took too long to pick it up and the item was now deleted from your stockroom. Yea that is right... gone forever and you had about 3 secods to reclaim it :-) FOR REAL

Been getting mails, items auction expiresyou took to long to pick the iteam up..or somethnig like that, thing is these iteam have never been up for sale and were in my vendor stockroom. Went back to my vendor just to check it out, justgreat most of my loot and spair armor has been deleted from the stockroom, sent in bug report last night just hoping these item will be replaced.

I have getting the same message. Put a ticket and got the normal akf auto response from crs. I lost 4 things so far it happens about every other day to me. So it is a bug and just not me.


They also told me that thay are not going to replace itams or pay me.

Similar problem. I had a bunch of cheap items stuck on the bazaarin Mos Eisely, Bestine, Cnet and Dearic. The sales expired, but I couldn't pick up the items. Either they didnt' show (Tat locations & Cnet), or they showed but wouldnt' allow me to pick them up, even when I was in the city.


Odd thing is some of them on Tat would show if I wasn't on the same planet. But they wouldn't "be there" when I arrived. Needless to say, they all went poof after a few days of this.

The merchant skills(Management)allow you to create a vendor, then it becomes an Item in your inventory to be placed. At that point it becomes just like a house, or harvester, needing regular maintenance. There is no merchant skill involved in using it, only Merchant perks such as reduced vendor maintenance, or reduced bazaar listing fees, most of which many dont mind giving up.


If someone masters tailor, weaponsmith, armorsmith, or chef, what ever they make becomes an item in their inventory that can be used even if they drop that crafting profession right then or later on down the road.


Its the same thing with harvesters..anyone can place and use harvesters, operate them and pay maintenance on them, or houses, even though an Archetect actually created them.


As far as bugs go, I have experienced most of what was already mentioned here as well.

I agree with you DaAhn!!!! Completely! Problem is, do the devs? Does anyone know if the"merchant surrendering skills but still able to maintain a vendor thing"is a bug that they are intending to fix or if this is as planned and going to stay that way. I could imagine having 6 vendors all with millions of dollars in inventoryand losing it all with no notice because the devs decided to fix this "bug"!
