It's been said many times before that the devs have stated that this is not working as intended, and will be fixed.

9. Some times vendors disappear entirely for periods of time only to return later. (Sometimes after a server reboot sometimes on their own even before a server reboot)
I think they are on vaccation.

Ok, I have been getting the You have failed to pickup your items bug (since Pub. 9) I check my stockrooms daily, then 5 minutes later a whole heap of items poof of the vendors. So far, these have been cheap items, mainly furniture. OMG I would have a freaking cow if something like a house, heavy harvestor, or something like that disappeared!
I been submitting bug reports everytime this happens. I hope they fix this very soon.

Items have been expiring off our vendors since Pub9, lots of credits lost in items that aparently never reach the storeroom, but are imediately deleted. We keep our storerooms Spik and Span, so it never got there. Things seem to randomly choose to die. Perhaps this was something that happened in the past but we hardly noticed it?

I'm dealing with this bug myself, and am told by the csr too bad, they expired and we're not going to help get them back. it's obvious this bug has been around, why at least aren't they helping out the people that it affects?

I lost another 120k credits to this bug today. I've been losing about 50k per day or so for a while. I'm going to feel really bad when one of my2 million credit items is randomly deleted.
Is anyone working on this bug? Does anyone read these forums any more? I don't see this HUGE bug on any of the bug lists on this forum. This bug seriously hampers my ability to make money as a merchant.

what is truly amusing is the DEVs obviouly dont read their own manuals. The description of the skill is create and/or place. Says nothing about owning or operating. So by the listed description in the skillbox it is working as intended so why would the DEVs say otherwise?

There Seems to be a few bugs with vendors and im having some of them, iv had items go missing and iv had Vendors go missing as well!!
When you Drop your merchant Skills you keep you Vendors.
THIS IS NOT A BUG AND ITS NOT AN EXPLOIT. this is how it should be, just like all the other class's you keep what you make from when you where that class.
If a weaponsmith gives up his class, Should he loose all the guns and swords he made.
Im an architect and I would not be happy if all my mines and house's whent missing if/When i give up the class.
People Say this makes merchant throw away. dont be so silly All class's are throw away!! you only get 250 points.
Most people should take merchant as one of the first classes, place your vendors and fill them up after you dump the class and go through all the other crafting classes you want to have a go at. you should be more worred about the fact that in 12 month time the only class will be jedi as there is no longer the NEEDED risk of perma death for them.

Well I am getting Ghost Items in my backpack when placing things up for sale. I place an item up for sale, it registers as for sale but I still have the item display in my backpack. I am unable to do anything with these "ghost" items but look at them funny.
I do havea work around for it though of selling from another contianer with in my backpack then jumping up on level then back down just in case to see what I missed.
Also have a quick relog fixes this problem too. So far though it has only happened on the Loot Kit Items. When i try to sell my resources they leave my backpack normally.

After Publish 10 has anyone had issues with their vendors not showing up on the planetary map until someone walks into the structure hosting the vendor?
I have been able to reproduce it consistently for a week now.
After a server reboot:
Login outside the structure hosting the vendors.
Ctrl-V -> Vendors -> Resources, vendor does not show on the map.
Ctrl-M vendors are not listed in the heads up display.
Walk into the house.
Ctrl-V -> Vendors -> Resources, vendor is listed.
Walk outside.
Ctrl-M vendors are on the overhead map.
This seems to be an interesting feature as one has to login every morning after the reboot to get their vendors back on the map. I would hate to go shopping in the early am and expect to find vendors listed.

It's been this way for a very long time before pub 10.
Your vendor doesn't show up on the map until it is loaded into the world for the very first time.
Naturally, this means that vendors in remote areas will not show up in a timely manner.

I came across a bazaar in Bestine that was used by a resource seller and he managed to sell his resources by 6060 Credits instant sale...(no ad) I thought the upper limit for bazaar are 6000 cr.... ? I didn't try to buy any resources though....
