Well, not really...


As a politician/mayor I can get the skill needed to drop a bank in my city and drop the skill and the bank remains, I of course can not remove the bank and replace it unless I have the skill to do so...


And as long as the city has A mayor (not necessarily the mayor who dropped it) all the items placed will always remain and remain useable.

HELP! Vendor lost in a deleted building.


I am not a merchant, but Master Artisan. I placed my one-and-only vendor in a PA hall to which I had admin. All was well and I was perfectly happy *BUT* the PA hall got deleted (I dont know the circumstances, I was just a lowly member and cant now contact the owner).


Oh well :-/ I thought, it's only 100K's worth of stock - i'll just place another one in a week or two.


Well, 2 weeks later - I go to place a vendor in a building (one of mine) and I can't - it says that I have the maximum number of vendors allows - what do I do? with only 1 vendor allowed, I can't sell any of my materials or products = no cash :-(((

Vendors are NOT disappearing for those that cancel.


Had three in my own shop empty like this for months. I strongly suspect this is a good portion of all the 'empty' vendors dotting the landscape.


They were also 150k in the red - and happily accepting merchandise for sale, retreival etc. - Old vendors, but if someone has quit - they likely all are.


Neither running into the red, nor cancelling the account got rid of them.


THOSE I wouldn't mind a purge of - would probably solve a ton of problems.

I'm so frustrated I feel like quitting. Two days ago I had to do some remodelling in my shop and had to pick a few things up with a full inventory, so Iput my backpack of resources up for sale in my vendor for 4k. I know that maybe that is not looked upon as right as I wasn't planning on really selling the stuff, but anyways WHY DID IT DISAPPEAR! I went back to find it and buy it back andithad completelyvanished!What if I were tryingto sell an outfit in there or something? It's not like they KNEWi was using it for storage, anyways, i sent in a ticket and the CSR had NO record of me stocking the vendorwith the item. SO...thinking maybe I had some sort of brainlapse andmaybe just dropped it, I went back to my shop and tried to pick all my items up again, putting them up for sale in my vendor again, well, i get down to an empty house and can't find my backpack. Go into my vendor tobuy back my items, and lo and behold...THEYARENOT LISTED ON THE VENDOR AND HAVE DISAPPEARED ALSO!


Soall i have left on me now is NOTHING. Everything Iowned has been eaten by that flipping vendor. =(


Has this happened to anyone, and if it has have you gotten your items back?

Oh yhea, that reminds me.

I don't actually seem to be able to pick up the vendor once dropped, although the game TELLS me to if I try to move it.

Does anyone know how to fix 'This Terminal is malfunctioning'? I created a vendor today, paid maintainance, loaded it with stuff, such as deeds for factories and furniture, went off to create more items and came back to my merchant tent and got the error. I now have a vendor with 200-300K worth of items whichI can't access.... andI dont want to lose, hence I dont want to remove the vendor. Have contacted CRSs and I await their reply...

StarWorker, On May 4 SWG included a vendor update in their publish. This sent items bought from a vendor to go straight to your inventory if you had room.


I have, however, noticed that this only seems to happen to the first item bought on any vendorin any one session. If you carry on shopping you will contiue to have to pick them up in the Available Items window. I imagine this is a bug.

Oh, so that change happens even when someone offers something to your vendor too. I thought it only happened iwhen you bought something from a vendor.

I am running a resource business, and get supplies from several different people. After I have bought the items, I expect them to go to the storeroom, so that I can list them for sale. If I want them into my inventory, I can use Retrieve.


I think the situation I described is a bug, and a non-intended side-effect of the vendor patch you mention.


The intended function is as follows:

When a customer buys something, the item goes into your inventory if there is room, or into the Available Items when the customer has a full inventory.


When a supplier sells something to your vendor, the item appears in the Offers screen. You can purchase it, and it will end up in the Storeroom. You can then retrieve it from the storeroom or put it up for sale.


However, in some instances, purchased items from suppliers, end up directly into my inventory, without going through the storeroom (I am not talking about the Available Items, as merchants don't have that screen on their own vendor)

I recently noticed a new vendor bug or two:


Sometimes, when I purchase stuff fromMY vendor , not all of the purchases ends up in the storeroom. One or two of the items might end up in directly into my inventory, without me clicking retrieve.


When looking at the vendor emails for one of these items, I noticed something strange:


This is the text of it:


>
> You have won the auction of "Inert Petrochemical" from "K'Rynn Katar" for 206000 credits. See the attached waypoint for location.
> The sale took place at North Crimson Flats, on Talus.

Now, compare that to the text of some of the items that went into the store room:

> You have won the auction of "Inert Petrochemical (Carbefyvvic) 89722" from "K'Rynn Katar" for 184827 credits. See the attached waypoint for location.
> The sale took place at North Crimson Flats, on Talus.

In the first message, both the name and the number of units are missing. I am not sure if the text of the message is connected with the item appearing in the inventory, I need some other instances to verify that.

DId you ever get this resolved? I had the exact same problem happen to me with four vendors last night. I have well over 3 mil in them to boot and some of the items are a little hard to come by. I also placed a trouble ticket but had to eventually call it a night.
